Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

South Riana Road, Gunns Plains - 048886-12TAS-RTR
Pavement and seal failures, drainage and insufficient width.Upgrade drainage culverts, repair pavement failures, widen appropriate areas and reseal. Length and width of repairs varies. Final seal width 6m, corner widening 6.5-7.0mTotal cost of proposed project is $1,000,000
Sluice Creek Road, Evelyn - 048889-12QLD-RTR
The existing gravel road is too narrow for two vehicles to pass without utilising the road verg or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for road users. AS the road is located in a high rainfall area, the gravel road surface is often very slippery and unsafe for use by conventional two wheel drive vehicles.The work proposed is to widen and reconstruct the existing gravel road to two lane bitumen standard for a length of 1.1km. Works include widening ot the existing formation, new gravel pavement, bitumen seal and drainage works.
Womblebank Gap (Rural Road) - 048891-12QLD-RTR
The current road is narrow with a large amount of blind crestsProposed to widen and bitumen seal a 2.1km sectionTotal cost of proposed project is $254,936
Pinnacle Road, Rural Road - 048892-12NSW-RTR
This section of Pinnacle Road consists of only a 3.7m wide bituminous surface. Currently vehicles have to drop at least one wheel off the pavement onto the batter and table drain to pass in this narrow section. This puts strains on the edge of the pavement which requires constant repairs and reduces safety to traffic especially to the heavy vehicles including buses.It is intended to widen the road formation to 8m with a 7m wide bitumen seal and a 0.5 metre unsealed shoulder on both sides. This project will include erecting & removing traffic control at the site, removing & reinstating signs & guideposts, clearing, excavation, adding gravel, widening the pavement, reconstructing the table drains, shaping, compacting, trimming and primer sealing incorporating 10mm aggregates with a 5mm scatter coat.
Feather Street, Roma - 048893-12QLD-RTR
Current bitumen seal is in poor condition and requires a reseal to maintain the bitumen surfaceProposed to reseal the existing surface

Old Young Road, Rural Road - 048895-12NSW-RTR
This section of Old Young Road was widened and primer sealed in 2012. Final seal needs to be placed prior to the failure of the primer seal.It is intended to seal 21945 m2 with a 10mm sprayed bitumen seal. Site preparation will include pothole & edge patching, preparation of stockpile site for aggregates and sweeping off excessive loose materials.
Baudin Street,Woodcroft. - 048898-12SA-RTR
Weak pavement over reactive soils have resulted in both pavement and seal reaching the end of their effective life and require renewal. This project will reduce maintenance costs, improve user service levels and improve safety.Reconstruct the whole length (approximately 360m for Baudin Street and 80m (part) of Tobin Crescent)removing both kerbs and footpaths and reconstructing. Note: works do not include the investigator Drive intersection.
Tyringham Road - 048912-12NSW-RTR
The existing road pavement is deformed and cracked with many pavement failures resulting in rough travel conditions for motorists.It is proposed to provide a gravel pavement overlay with a new bitumen sealed road surface.Total cost of proposed project is $440,000
Tyrinham Road - 048915-12NSW-RTR
The existing road pavement is deformed and cracked with many pavement failures resulting in rough road conditions for motorists.It is proposed to provide a gravel pavement overlay and nes bitumen sealed road surface.Total cost of proposed project is $180,000
