Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bay Road, Encounter Bay - 049163-13SA-RTR
Road has extreme crocodile cracking along widespread depression and numerous potholes. There is no kerb and gutter on the northern side. The existing kerb and gutter alignment on the southern side is too close to the trunks of mature trees. The existing wide width of the road results in a long unprotected crossing distance for pedestrians. Existing public lighting is not compliant with current lighting standards.Stage 1: Reconstruct the road and provide a 40mm deep asphaltic concrete wearing surface. Install new kerb and gutter on the northern side. Remove the existing kerb and gutter on the southern side and install a new kerb and gutter with an alignment that provides for indented parking bays between the mature trees. Install a pedestrian refuge between Bartel Boulevard and Maude Street. Upgrade pubic lighting to meet current standards by installing new luminaires and new light poles.Total cost of proposed project is $700,000
Nicholson Street, Woodend - 049164-13VIC-RTR
Exisitng pavement surface is aged and deteriated with surface defects and pavement failures.Reconstruct and rehabilitate existing pavement and reseal.Total cost of proposed project is $132,576
Trowbridge Road (Rural Road) - 049165-13SA-RTR
Road service has deteriorated due to loss of rubble material over the years.Resheet failed section on a road length of 1.3km with a width of 7m by providing compacted rubble to a depth of 200mm.
Kyneton Springhill Road, Rural Road - 049166-13VIC-RTR
Existing road pavement is narrow (one lane wide) and has numerous corners and crests. Increasing traffic is causing wear on gravel shoulders and restricted visibility on the narrow road can be a safety hazard.Exisitng pavement to be reconstructed, widened and sealed to 6.2 metre wide standard.
Ashbourne Road, Woodend - 049167-13VIC-RTR
Road pavement has shown a significant deteriation (surface defects and roughness) over the last 3 three years due to pavement age and increase in traffic.Reconstruct exisitng pavement and seal to 6.2m metre wide standard.
Day Road (Rural Road) - 049168-13SA-RTR
Road surface has deteriorated due to loss of Rubble over the years.Resheeting failed section on a road length of 2km with a width of 7m by providing compacted rubble to a depth of 200mm.Total cost of proposed project is $76,715
Mata Mata Road ( Rural Road) - 049169-13NT-RTR
Washouts of road pavement on approaches to creek crossings at chainage 24.7 and scouring at creek crossings.Rehabilitation of road pavement and construction of offlet drains and blocks. Construction of three cells box culverts 1200x1200x8m at creek crossing.Total cost of proposed project is $163,800
Venning Road (Rural Road) - 049170-13SA-RTR
Road surface has deteriorated due to loss of rubble material over the years.Resheet failed section for 2km to a width of 7m with compacted rubble to a depth of 200mm.
Old Highway, Narooma - 049173-13NSW-RTR
Aged and worn pavement showing signs of distress, such as cracking and ravellingResealing of the full width and length of the road by the application of one coat of bitumen and new aggregate, some 40,300 square metresTotal cost of proposed project is $199,229
