Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Tucka Tucka Road (Rural Road) - 049599-13NSW-RTR
Gravel pavement thickness has been signifcantly reduced by traffic and weather making the road slippery during wet weather.Form existing foundations and place 150mm of compact gravel to create an all weather wearing surface including drainage works.

Main Street - 049602-13VIC-RTR
The kerb and channel is cracked, broken and reached the end of its life. It is now not draining the road surface water in the manner it was designed to, causing ponding and in some instances affecting the road shoulder pavement.Replace broken kerb with new concrete kerb and channel on both sides of the road for a total length of 320 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $70,788
Verran Terrace, Port Lincoln SA - 049603-13SA-RTR
The existing road of surface of Verran Terrace has developed potholes and cracks and deteriorated beyond maintenance as a repair option. The road is a main route for heavy vehicles on the western entry into town and between industrial areas and the town and wharf areas. There is currently no kerbing on the railway corridor side of the road which creates drainage issues as the road edges are broken. There is also a new Bunnings development with main access from Verran Terrace, which will increase business and general use of the road.The road will be reconstructed with a new base from Lebrun Street to Belair Drive and the surface will be hotmixed. There is currently no kerbing or guttering on the right hand (rail corridor side) of Verran Terrace. As part of the project kerbing will be constructed on this section to allievate drainage issues and future deterioration of the road shoulders. A footpath is not required at this point as there is a concrete footpath on the left hand side of Verran Terrace.Total cost of proposed project is $312,391
Boonery Park Road (Rural Road) - 049604-13NSW-RTR

Mulholland Drive, Beechworth township, - 049605-13VIC-RTR
Undersized road drainage system is causing flooding from the road surface into private property during storm events.Increase the road drainage system capacity. Install 5 new drainage pit inlets and install a new 0.45 metre diameter drainage pipe for a total length of 120 metres.
Wilga Downs Road (Rural Road) - 049607-13NSW-RTR
Road has deteriorated due to the increase in traffic causing pot holes, corrugations, ruts and a loss of gravel.Gravel and seal approximately 2 kilometres of Rural Road. This will extend the current sealing of this road.
Sale Heyfield Road (Rural Road) - 049608-13VIC-RTR
Inspections have revealed significant deterioration of the road pavement, edges of seal constantly breaking away, increasing numbers of potholes, resulting in a reduced service level and high risk, despite prolonged attempts at maintenance patching.Reconstruct and seal the 2km of road. Works include reshaping of the existing pavement & placement of additional conforming materials. Drainage works as required. Bituminous Sealing 7mm primerseal.
Shepherd Road (Rural Road) - 049610-13WA-RTR
General wear and tear over years has produced large pot holes and will be at the end of its useful life if not intervention.Clear over grown vegetation on side of road, top up gravel shoulders, cler drains and reseal the above section to a width of 3.7 metres.
