Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Burwood Road, Burwood - 050029-13NSW-RTR
Pavement slab subsidence, major surface cracking allowing water ingress and surface roughness.Crack sealing, asphalt adjustment course and asphalt resheeting to rehabilitate pavent, improve ride safety and extend life of asset.
John Street, The Oaks - 050030-13NSW-RTR
Existing road is rough with areas of the road base failing. It also has below grade kerb gutter and drainage (with grassed bank) within part of the road reserve for part of its length.The works will include widening and strengthening the road for a length of 600 metres and a width of 11 metres and also drainage works to bring the kerb and gutter and stormwater pit up to the road grade.Total cost of proposed project is $632,801
Darjeeling Road, Walcha (Rural Road) - 050031-13NSW-RTR
Existing seal deteriorated and is 9 years overdue for reseal.Resealing a 1930m long x 5.5m wide section with C170 bitumen binder and 7mm precoated aggregate.
Carrs Peninsular Road, Junction Hill - 050032-13NSW-RTR
The road surface has failed in sections within this length, resulting in significant deformation of the road surface.The proposed work involves the rehabilitation of 700 metres of pavement within this length. The failed sections of pavement will be removed and replaced with base grade gravel. The sections will then be overlaid with up to 150 mm of gravel and sealed. The rehabilitated length of road will be 700 metres long and 4.0 metres wide.
Brown Street Castlemaine - 050033-13VIC-RTR
Unsealed road surface to be sealed to eliminate drainage issuesRealignment and sealing of existing pavement, underground drainage network with surface kerb and channel.Single lane drive over kerb and 5 metre wide seal with associated drainage works.Design alteration to include kerb and channelTotal cost of proposed project is $424,410
Calligans Creek Road (Rural Road) - 050035-13NSW-RTR
The road surface has failed in a number of sections, resulting in significant deformation of the road surface over the road section length.The proposed work involves the removal of the failed pavement sections and replacement with base grade gravel. The road length will then be overlaid with up to 150 mm of gravel and sealed. The length of the work is 300 metres long and 4.5 metres wide.
Strzelecki Track (Rural Road) - 050036-13SA-RTR
The existing seal is stripping,has extensive cracking and is generally in poor condition.To repair pavement defects, apply a bitumen reseal to waterproof the existing surface and prevent further deterioration to the pavement.
James Street Castlemaine - 050038-13VIC-RTR
The existing road surface is unsealed creating drainage issues identified during recent flood events in the ShireRealignment of the existing pavement surface with kerb and channel and associated drainage works.
Tyson Street, South Grafton - 050039-13NSW-RTR
The existing 300 mm diameter stormwater pipe has collapsed and the kerb and gutter is deformed and ponds water.The stormwater pipe will be replaced with a 450 mm diameter pipe and the kerb and gutter wil be replaced.
Broomehill Kojonup Road - Rural Road - 050041-13WA-RTR
Inadequate width to allow safe passing of heavy vehicles, or meet the standard width for centre line marking.Widen formation to 10 metres, including widening of culverts and reinstatement of drainage. Widen bitumen seal from 5.6 metres to 7.0 metresTotal cost of proposed project is $285,000
