Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Barker Road, Strathfield - 116496-21NSW-RTR
Cracks, localised failures, holes in the road.This is a concrete road with rigid pavement and treatment is to replace the damaged and failed panel with double RF and 250mm concrete thickness.

Taylor Road (Rural Road) - 116546-21WA-RTR
Thinning gravel due to heavy vehicles carting to nearby CBH grain storage bin, damaged and old culverts along this section of road, drains are misshapen, weathered signage. Part of the work section is a school bus route.Resheet work section and re-cut drains, replace culverts and extend to 12 metres with headwalls, replace signage.
Haig Road (Rural Road) - 116547-21WA-RTR
Gravel thinning on road surface due to its low priority for renewal works as a low traffic road, drains and backslopes worn away. Culverts too narrow and blocked. Signage worn and faded and guideposts are damaged/bent. Entire road is a current school bus route.Gravel resheet work section, re-cut drains and backslopes, replace culverts with larger size and extend to 12 metres with headwalls. Replace signage. Remove PVC guideposts and install steel guideposts.
Magenta Road (Rural Road) - 116544-21WA-RTR
Thinning gravel due to heavy vehicles carting out of nearby gypsum mine to the south. Culverts along this section are too short. Drains along road have silted up. Signage worn down and bent due to wind pressure from passing trucks and wind damage.Resheet work section and re-cut drains. Take out culverts along this length and replace with culverts extended to 12 metres with headwalls. Replace signage along the road section.
Purnta Road (Rural Road) - 116543-21WA-RTR
Thinning gravel due to heavy vehicle traffic down Purnta Road and Pickernell Road, drains washed away from recent rainfall in the area, culverts collapsed. This road is a school bus road. Signs worn away.Gravel resheet along work section and re-cut drains along the same section to Shire policy standards, replace culverts in this section and extend to 12 metres with headwalls. Replace signage at intersection and curve.
Kimberley Street, West Leederville - 116558-21WA-RTR
A large amount of rear end crashes (16 in 5 years) occur on Kimberley Street (northbound) turning right (east) on to Lake Monger Drive. This is due to the volume of vehicles and length of right turn pocket.Lengthen the right turn pocket 20 linear metres by widening Kimberley Street an additional 3 metres between Lake Monger Drive and Vincent Street West. Widening to be constructed with pavement and asphalt seal.Total cost of proposed project is $181,668
Normans Road (Rural Road) - 116563-21NSW-RTR
The gravel pavement has become very thin with section of black soil progressing through the pavement. This is limiting access to all stakeholders, including heavy vehicles during periods extended periods of wet weather.Overlay the existing payments with 100mm of crushed gravel to strengthen pavement
