Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Carrigan Road (Rural Road) - 112691-20NSW-RTR
This section of the road is unsealed and experiences ongoing issues with roughness, heavy vehicle access, vehicle access particularly during wet weather, corrugation and excessive dust. Gravelling will improve wet weather access, roughness and corrugation issues and reduce some of the dust issues.Gravel sheeting 4.4km of road with a gravel depth of 100mm sub-base and 150mm base.Total cost of proposed project is $330,504
Yarrowie Road (rural road) - 112717-20SA-RTR
Surface of road has worn with clay appearing making road a hazard when wet as it becomes slippery and boggy.To resurface the road with a natural rubble. It will be applied 7 metres wide and 0.12metres thick when compacted. This involves raising material with a bulldozer, carting to site with trucks, spreading and levelling with graders and compacting with rollers.
Narridy-Redhill Road, (rural road) - 112719-20SA-RTR
Surface of road has worn with clay appearing making road a hazard when wet as it becomes slippery and boggy.To resurface the road with a natural rubble. It will be applied 7 metres wide and 0.12metres thick when compacted. This involves raising material with a bulldozer, carting to site with trucks, spreading and levelling with graders and compacting with rollers.
Cudmore Gap Road (rural road) - 112718-20SA-RTR
Surface of road has worn with clay appearing making road a hazard when wet as it becomes slippery and boggy.To resurface the road with a natural rubble. It will be applied 7 metres wide and 0.12metres thick when compacted. This involves raising material with a bulldozer, carting to site with trucks, spreading and levelling with graders and compacting with rollers.
Grattai Road (Rural Road) - 112693-20NSW-RTR
The pavement of this causeway has failed and requires replacingReplacing the bitumen sealed causeway with a concrete structure of 8m wide for a length of 0.53km.
Norman Road, Mudgee - 112721-20NSW-RTR
The road seal is past its useful life and is in a poor condition with seal cracking and potholes are an ongoing problem.Reseal of the full width of the road to protect the underlying pavement from water damage.
Wentworth Road, Merbein - 052269-14VIC-RTR
Existing seal is breaking down, reached end of useful lifeResealing in accordance with Asset Maintenance Strategy.
Bayview Street, Concord - 112720-20NSW-RTR
Bayview Street has shown signs of distress and recent development in the area has contributed to faster deterioration of the pavement due to construction traffic through the site.The proposed works include road pavement repair, resurfacing of entire street and kerb & gutter (portion) renewal etc.
Mungindi Airport Road (Rural Road) - 112692-20NSW-RTR
This is a vital road to the Mungindi Airport for Air Ambulance and other essential services. Having an unsealed road means that in wet weather this road may become unpassable.Sealing 0.91km of unsealed road with a seal width of 7m and pavement width of 8mTotal cost of proposed project is $186,156
Milawa - Bobinawarrah Road, Milwawa - 112726-20VIC-RTR
This busy intersection is causing traffic issues in periods of heavy rainfall resulting in water inundation on and surrounding the road. This is due to the existing infrastructure consisting of no formal kerb and channel, and informal gravel swale drains. The existing gravel car park is not line marked confusing users of their parking requirements and creating traffic hazards at an already busy intersection. The works will assist to improve traffic conditions through road widening, create formalised car parking, improve drainage and protect the existing pavement. Overall providing a safe and functioning intersection.Installation of kerb and channel along both sides of the road. Improved drainage to relocate water inundation away from the road pavement, to protect it's longevity and reduce traffic safety. Installation of formal car parking, including asphalting and line marking.
