Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Sandy Bay Road, Sandy Bay - between Marieville Esplanade and Derwent Water - 052466-14TAS-RTR
A high number of cyclists use Sandy Bay Road for commuting, there are currently no facilities to separate the cyclists from the high volume of traffic on the road and the existing crossing points for pedestrians do not meet current standards.Installation of a widened footpath for pedestrians and cyclists on the eastern side of Sandy Bay Road between Marieville Esplanade and Derwentwater Avenue together with handrails and improved crossing facilities at the intersection of Sandy Bay Road and Drysdale Place

Existing road is too narrow and was poor horizontal alignment creating safety issues. Realigned widened road will be safer.It is proposed to widen and seal from 4m width to 6m width and 8m width on bends reconstruct shoulders, seal shoulders and reseal complete.
Kookburra Street, Quilpie (Town Street) - 096872-17QLD-RTR
Existing bitumen seal is old and worn. Reseal required to prevent patholes to reduce maintenance costs.Maintenance reseal.
Dukkamurra Street, Quilpie (Town Streets) - 096871-17QLD-RTR
Existing bitumen seal is old and worn. Reseal required to prevent patholes to reduce maintenance costs.Maintenance reseal.
Yaraka - Retreat Road (Rural Road) - 096909-17QLD-RTR
Replacement of the existing gravel pavement which has deteriorated due to its age and normal wear and tear. Gravel resheeting of this section of road will maintain existing levels of service.Load, cart, place and compact 150mm thick gravel pavement for the project length identified.
Kojonolokan Road - 096911-17WA-RTR
The gravel surface on this intersection has deteriorated due to increased heavy vehicle traffic on the road. In addition the culvert at the intersection requires cleaning and minor repairs to ensure its functionality, stability and safety.Council proposes to resheet approximately one kilometre on Watson Road east of the Kojonolokan Road intersection, and one kilometre on Kojonolokan Road south of the Watson Road intersection. Tree prune the intersection to improve sight lines, and clean and repair culvert.
