Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bunbury Outer Ring Road (stages 2 and 3)
Forrest Highway, Robertson Drive and Bussell Highway in Bunbury are experiencing congestion and safety issues due to a mix of tourist, local and freight traffic. Access to Bunbury Port for road freight is also inefficient with heavy vehicles using indirect routes and being constrained by a number of at grade intersections. This project will construct a northern connection to Forrest Highway (Stage 2) and a southern connection to Bussell Highway (Stage 3) from the existing Bunbury Outer Ring Road Stage 1 link, which was completed in May 2013.
Greens Lane, Jerilderie (Rural Road) - 100867-18NSW-RTR
School bus route, access road for heavy vehicles. Narrow unsealed road in poor condition, rough surface.Mix and compact 100mm gravel and 100mm road base and seal to provide a 6m seal plus 1m shoulders on both sides for a length of 1.85km.
Road 12 , Yarralin - 100868-18NT-RTR
The road provides direct access to the old humbert access road from residential area. It is a partly sealed road. At this stage, the construction covers only 75 lineal metres of sealed section extension.Exacavate unsatisfactory parement and replace with stabilised materials. Provide 2 Coat seal.

Calvert Road, Orchard Hills - 100870-18NSW-RTR
Calverts Road was stabilised recently with two coat sealed wearing surface. Due to increasing traffic from the opening of Kent Road exit ramp of M4 the wearing surface is started stripping and failing.It is proposed to do 40mm asphalt overlay to the entire road to the existing pavement for 500 meter length to a width of 7 meters.Total cost of proposed project is $61,972
Commins Road, Lucknow - 100874-18VIC-RTR
The current condition of the seal is very poor.Rehabilitation, asphalt regulation, edge repairs and crack sealing will be undertaken as preparation works prior to the commencement of sealing work then reinstatement of line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $45,000
Holloway Street, Bairnsdale - 100873-18VIC-RTR
The current condition of the seal is very poor.Rehabilitation, asphalt regulation, edge repairs and crack sealing will be undertaken as preparation works prior to the commencement of sealing work then reinstatement of line marking.Total cost of proposed project is $30,000
