Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Speewa Rd - Rural Road - 101208-19NSW-RTR
The road width is insufficient for the current traffic. The road formation is failing.Widen the road to accommodate the current traffic. Rebuild the pavement layers.
Hesse Street, Queenscliff - 101216-19VIC-RTR
The problems with the current road are that there is flooding occurring on this road network, there is inadequate parking for tourists and sporting club users on this road, there is poor street lighting and finally that pedestrian access along the road is currently poor.The works proposed involve widening 140 meters of Hesse Street by 2 meters on the west side with new kerb and channel, 25 new parking bays on the east side of the road, a new 525mm diameter stormwater drain, 500m of new shared path 2.5m wide, upgrade of street lighting and provision of traffic control through provision of two wombat crossingsTotal cost of proposed project is $1,356,837
Edwin Street , Fairfield - 101265-19VIC-RTR
Edwin St is a narrow unmade residential street with poor vehicle access and poor pedestrian safetyConstruction of new full depth pavement , kerb and channel both sides, footpath south side and stormwater drainageTotal cost of proposed project is $375,000
Flinders St, Thornbury - 101274-19VIC-RTR
Flinders St is an unmade road , with a very poor gravel surface, poor vehicle access and unmade footpaths with poor pedestrian accessConstruction of a full depth sealed pavement, kerb and channel, stormwater drainage and made footpathsTotal cost of proposed project is $679,000
Pioneer Drive, Humpty Doo - 101167-18NT-RTR
The current drainage design cannot cope with the excessive quantities of water, and adjoining properties become flooded in the wet season and protection of the road infrastructure.Pioneer Drive - installation of a 2 cell 1200 x 600 RCBC on Pioneer Drive, approximately 130m west of Beddington Road intersection, in accordance with the drawings attached. Beddington Road - installation of an additional 2 cell 1200 x 900 RCBC on Beddington Road, immediately adjacent to the existing culvert on Beddington Road, at the intersection with Pioneer Drive to tie in with existing culvert and drainage structures.
