Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Orr Street, Coolamon - 107484-20NSW-RTR
Developing section of Coolamon township with insufficient seal width, provision of roadside parking and drainage infrastructure to accept overland flows and eliminated erosion.Works include extension of seal width to permit two lane two way traffic and roadside parking in addition to installation of kerb and gutter to define road extent and collect and control drainage flows.
Adelaide River to Wadeye Corridor - Port Keats Road Upgrade (Saddle Rail Creek)
This project will upgrade a high priority section of Port Keats Road, which extends for 178km across the north west of the Northern Territory, from the Daly River Bridge Crossing near the community of Nauiyu to Wadeye. The project involves the following elements: Construction works on Port Keats Road around the point it crosses Saddle Rail Creek, which is currently the section most vulnerable to flooding. This will upgrade an 11.7km section of the road, including sealing between chainages 3.0km and 14.7km and construction of a 45m bridge over Saddle Rail Creek as well as several floodway sections and culvert crossings The development of an investment strategy to identify and prioritise future upgrades on the corridor, with the objective of achieving year round road access for communities in the region. Port Keats Road is on the Roads of Strategic Importance (ROSI) Adelaide River to Wadeye corridor.
Madden Grove Level Crossing Removal Study, Burnley
This project undertook a feasibility study to examine options for the removal of the level crossing of the Glen Waverley Line at Madden Grove in Burnley.
Tooronga Road Level Crossing Removal Study, Tooronga
This project undertook a feasibility study to examine options for the removal of the level crossing of the Glen Waverley Line at Tooronga Road in Tooronga.
ACT Intersection Upgrade Package
The project package provided intersection upgrades across the Australian Capital Territory at various identified locations to improve road user and pedestrian safety, and improve traffic management. The intersections that were upgraded are: Belconnen Way/ Springvale Drive, Page Launceston Street/ Irving Street, Phillip Southern Cross Drive/ Starke Street, Macgregor Kuringa Drive/ Owen Dixon Drive, Spence.
Canberra Light Rail – new Mitchell Light Rail Stop
This project involved modifying the existing Canberra Light Rail Stage 1 Project to include the design and construction of an additional light rail stop. The Mitchell Light rail stop is located immediately south of the Sandford Street intersection with Flemington Road.
Northbourne Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation Package
This project restored road pavements along Northbourne Avenue in the following sections: Condamine Street and MacArthur Avenue (Northbound) Antill Street and MacArthur Avenue (Southbound) Mouat Street to Macarthur Avenue (Southbound) The project involved removing the existing pavement surface and structural layer of pavement, remediating poor condition sub-surface areas and then reconstructing the road pavement.
Traffic Signal Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)
This project involved upgrading traffic signals with uninterrupted power supply (UPS) units and associated infrastructure at 20 identified intersections across the ACT. These upgrades would support traffic signal function in power outages.
Road Safety Barriers
The project involved replacement or improvement of road safety barriers along Tuggeranong Parkway to comply with current standards and reduce the likelihood of fatal crashes caused by run off collisions.
Variable Speed Limit System
This project involved planning work around viability of a variable speed limit system on the Tuggeranong Parkway between Cotter Road and the Glenloch Interchange to allow Transport Canberra City Services to vary speeds to manage traffic congestion.
