Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Phipps Crescent, Diamond Creek - 106139-19VIC-RTR
Upgrading existing unsealed road to sealed due to increased traffic and escalating routine maintenance costs.Reform existing gravel pavement, shape table drains, replace road culverts as required and spray seal existing gravel roadTotal cost of proposed project is $240,000
Chapel Lane, Nutfield - 106142-19VIC-RTR
Application of final seal to the road pavement. Road was sealed 2018 using R2R funding and final seal is now required to complete the project. Road will rapidly deteriorate if final seal is not appliedSome patching will be completed then spray seal existing primer sealed road surface as final sealTotal cost of proposed project is $127,000
Mildura Ivanhoe (Rural Road) - 106144-19NSW-RTR
Formation of road has deteriorated due to traffic. The road level is below natural surface and on an old lake bed making it impassable in wet conditions. Road side drainage is none existent causing deep scouring along side of the road and certain places crossing the road. No subbase, no subgrade. Highly feeble.Installation of drainage pipes in low-line area and build the road up with natural material for 2km. Then gravel construct 8m wide for the length of 2km. For a further 3km on both sides of the drainage pipes the road will be graded, reshaped and forming table drains for drainage flow. Total length of works will be 8km.
Jones Road (Rural Road) - 106136-19NSW-RTR
Jones Road Causeway is a single lane, 2 way access only. The narrow pavement does not allow for oversize or overmass vehicles to traverse over this length of road.Widen and raise pavement to accommodate HV access (Heavy Mass Limit and Oversize/Overmass vehicles) and also accommodate 1 in 100 flood events.Total cost of proposed project is $1,919,800
Gills Road, Watsons Creek - 106110-19VIC-RTR
Addressing items identified through our routine bridge inspection program - Bank erosion around bridge abutments, termite damage to timber support members and corrosion of steel girders.Shot crete around bridge abutments and creek banks, replacement of all termite damaged timber components and treatment of corroded steel girders.
Progress Road, Eltham North - 106137-19VIC-RTR
Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Council's Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface is approaching the end of its useful life. The road is a boundary road between Nillumbik Shire Council and Banyule City Council. Maintenance costs are shred between the two municipalities, so this project is being jointly funded. Banyule CC will pay 50% of costs and Nillumbik will fund their half through Roads to Recovery.Profile existing sealed surface and lay new Asphalt overlay over the full width of existing sealed pavementTotal cost of proposed project is $176,000

Whittall Street, Russell Lea - 106161-19NSW-RTR
Whittall street is one of the surrounding streets to Russell Lea Public School. Council proposes to renew existing asphalt pavements that shows signs of stress as a result of recent development activities in the area. Several areas have exhibited excessive cracking and localised failures.The scope of works is to: • Remove and replace approximately 1400m2 of flexible pavements. • Remove and replace approximately 44m of standard kerb & gutter • Replace defects 15 m2 concrete footpath. • Install two pram ramps at the intersection with Lithgow St. • Reinstate all line marking disturbed during the work
Landor Mount Augustus Road (rural road) - 106155-19WA-RTR
There is a section of road with a lack of formation and exposed rock. This presents drainage and driver safety issues.Re-sheet with good quality gravel and water bind section road with exposed rock and lack of formation
