Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Le Souef Drive, Kardinya - 107469-20WA-RTR
Road showing signs of failure in various sections. Road surface is old and rough and in need of resurfacing.Rehabilitation of select number of sections along the road that are currently failing. The works is to be undertaken as part of a more general upgrade that will include a complete resurfacing of the road, kerb replacement were required and pram ramp upgrade.
Walleroobie Road (rural road) - 107483-20NSW-RTR
Pavement is displaying deterioration with extensive cracking and minor shoving requiring a reseal to prevent further damage and reinstate an impermeable surface.Minor bitumen maintenance such as pothole and edge break repair prior to applying bitumen reseal.
Mirrool South Road (rural road) - 107477-20NSW-RTR
These sections have inferior subgrade and have suffered extensive deformation and cracking as a result of increased heavy vehicle movements. The existing pavement displays extensive edge damage on sections that have not received heavy patching. The edge damage involves deep drop offs and breaking away of the seal into the travel path.Rehabilitate road by excavating unsuitable material, adding suitable crushed gravel, stabilise road subgrade, grade and roll to desired shape and compaction, followed by a bitumen seal. Cheddar West Road, Reservoir - 107478-20VIC-RTR
The majority of the pavement in this section of Cheddar West Road has reached the end of its life, It is very poor condition with extensive failures and loss of shape. Cheddar West Road is a very busy road carrying 22,000 vehicles /day. The intersection of Cheddar West Road and Dole Ave is particularly dangerous at peak hourremove and reconstruct 2,100m2 of existing pavement, reseal a further 1,176m2 of pavement reconstruct the kerb and channel on the western side of Cheddar West Road between Harmer St and Dole Ave and reconstruct the Dole Ave /Cheddar West Road intersection and install traffic lightsTotal cost of proposed project is $1,820,000
