Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Thomas Road Upgrade
This project will duplicate Thomas Road near Kwinana Freeway, and construct a new roundabout servicing the development sites on both sides of the road. The remaining single carriageway section of Thomas Road will be upgraded, along with the Kargotich Road intersection and other priority sections along Thomas Road. This project will complement related projects in the area, including the Tonkin Highway Stage 3 Extension and the Thomas Road - Dual Carriageway South Western Highway to Tonkin Highway Upgrade, by removing merge points along Thomas Road and reducing congestion bottlenecks.
Great Eastern Highway - Coates Gully Bridge
The project will replace Bridge 0604 in Coates Gully with a new culvert on the Great Eastern Highway (GEH), including drainage improvements. The bridge will be widened to a twelve metre formation, with approach roads widened to allow for safe tie-ins.
Toodyay Road Upgrade - Jingaling Brook to Toodyay
The project undertook the following works:• Toodyay Road between Jingaling Brook and Lovers Lane - widen the seal and improve the overlay, with the provision of a westbound passing lane, and• Toodyay Road between Goomalling-Toodyay Road and Northam-Toodyay Road - widen the seal and improve the overlay.• Intersection improvements and the installations of crash barriers, included on both sections.
Regional State Road Safety Improvement Program
The project will undertake 35 low cost widening and safety projects across the Great Southern Region, South West Region, Mid West-Gascoyne Region, Goldfields-Esperance Region, Wheatbelt Region, Pilbara Region, Kimberley Region and Metropolitan Region. Works include widening of sealed shoulders to current formation and installation of audible edge lines.
Peisley Road (Rural Road) - 107670-20NSW-RTR
Existing poor quality gravel pavement allows infiltration of water causing the formation of pot holes and wheel ruts.Re-shape 3 kilometres of the existing formation and re-sheet with 100 mm of good quality crushed rock.
Pangee Road (Rural Road) - 107669-20NSW-RTR
Existing poor quality gravel pavement allows infiltration of water causing the formation of pot holes and wheel ruts.Re-shape 3 kilometres of the existing formation and re-sheet with 100 mm of good quality crushed rock.
Tyntynder Road, Tyntynder - 107661-20VIC-RTR
The existing shoulders on this narrow sealed road have become depleted over the years and have created a drop off at various locations.Work proposed is to replace the existing material with 100 millimetre thick pavement material for a width of 2.0 metres either side of the existing seal. Total length of the project 3.2km.
Webster Road, Manangatang - 107658-20VIC-RTR
The existing limestone pavement has worn away causing surface to become uneven, potholed and rutted.Work Proposed is to place 100 millimetres of limestone onto the existing surface to restore the running surface to the road. Total length of the project is 2.2 kilometres at 6 metres wide.
Campbell Street, Swan Hill - 107663-20VIC-RTR
The problem being addressed is the road has developed large longitudinal deflections and rutting.Reconstruct existing divided lanes 18 metres wide pavement, resurface with asphalt and replace existing kerb and channel. Total length of project 230 metres.
Walters Road, Manangatang - 107659-20VIC-RTR
The existing limestone pavement has worn away causing surface to become uneven, potholed and rutted.Work Proposed is to place 100 millimetres of limestone onto the existing surface to restore the running surface to the road. Total length of the project is 3.2 kilometres at 6 metres wide.
