Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Thera Street, Falcon - 108346-20WA-RTR
Thera Street is showing signs of significant pavement failure and crocodile cracking and requires a full rehabilitation of this section. Replace kerb and path.Mill and fill Thera Street between Koolinda Street intersection and Yeedong Road T-junction. Pavement reconstruction area approx. 293m2.
Catalina Drive, Lakelands - 108345-20WA-RTR
This roundabout is significantly deteriorated with crocodile cracking indicating pavement failure. Potholes are forming due to the large amount of traffic at this roundabout, which is adjacent to a school.Full rehabilitation of roundabout to include approach legs. Pedestrian pathway requires links through median island on the eastern leg of the roundabout.
Old Coast Road, Dawesville - 108347-20WA-RTR
This section of Old Coast Road is showing signs of significant pavement failure and crocodile cracking. It will continue to deteriorate and any potholes or edge drop that forms would be a hazard to motorists, particularly considering the 70km/hr speed limit.Resealing Old Coast Road to follow the left turn pocket and intersection with Albany Drive. Shorten the left turn pocket in accordance with appropriate road design standard. Upgraded drainage works to be included.Total cost of proposed project is $130,000
William Street, Cavan - 108328-20SA-RTR
Road has failed due to large number of heavy vehicles causing of potholes, and water pooling is causing the road to break awayKerb and Gutter to be replaced so water stops pooling and Resealing of the RoadTotal cost of proposed project is $178,775
Invermay Road, Invermay - 108361-20TAS-RTR
Failing road surface has to be resealed repairing all damaged and distorted kerbs and channelsComplete surface reseal with asphalt and replacement of kerb and channel on both sides of the road.Total cost of proposed project is $2,500,000
Laser Drive, Rowville - 108365-20VIC-RTR
The road surface has aged and failed in places and the kerb and channel has failed or settled.Asphalt overlay of the road pavement and reconstruction of failed pavement areas along with reconstruction of kerb and channel and associated drainage. Laser Drive is approximately 670 metres with a mostly uniform pavement width of 11.9 metres.
Cathies Lane, Wantirna South - 108367-20VIC-RTR
The road surface has aged and failed in places and the kerb and channel has failed or settled.Asphalt overlay of the road pavement and reconstruction of failed pavement areas along with reconstruction of kerb and channel. This section of Cathies Lane is approximately 215 metres with a mostly uniform pavement width of 10.2 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $291,748
Wattle Gve, Coburg - 108344-20VIC-RTR
The kerb and channel within Wattle Grove has become misaligned along significant portions of the street causing flooding and ingress of water to the pavement. The ageing pavement has deformed and pavement related cracking is extensive on the surface.The works undertaken will be the design and reconstruction of the road. This involves 1. installation of underground drainage 2. renewal of the existing pavement and asphalt surface 3. replacement of the existing kerb and channelTotal cost of proposed project is $818,174

Dulguigan Road, North Tumbulgum - 108374-20NSW-RTR
The existing sealed road & intersection is too narrow for the high heavy vehicle use it experiences and requires widening in order to reduce vehicles crossing the road centre line.The existing sealed road is to be widened using a granular pavement and a new sealed surface is to be placed. A retaining wall will also be constructed to supplement the road widening.Total cost of proposed project is $633,733
