Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Proposed road to serve as heavy vehicle bypass to Lockhart. Road currently unsealed and subject to periodic flooding.Sealing of road, culvert extensions and intersection reconfiguration.Total cost of proposed project is $2,441,488
Mann Street, Nambucca Heads - 108738-20NSW-RTR
These intersections in Mann Street exhibit surface and pavement failures as crocodile cracking and potholes. Mann Street is one of the main entrance roads serving Nambucca Heads. Work has progressed over recent years addressing the road pavement failures brought on by the increased traffic delivered by the recently constructed Pacific Motorway. This project will extend from the previous work and complete the Mann Street reconstruction project.Reconstruction of the three intersections will complete the Mann Street project to improve road safety and traffic flow.Total cost of proposed project is $350,906
Old Coast Road, North Macksville - 108756-20NSW-RTR
Old Coast Road has been significantly modified with the construction of the Pacific Motorway. Some sections have been re-aligned and sealed, while other sections remain as gravel road remnants of the old alignment. The subject gravel section is requiring significant regular maintenance to meet the traffic requirements of the growing population, and is the last segment of unsealed road.Reconstruct and seal the gravel section to provide a continuous sealed road.Total cost of proposed project is $343,200
Western Road (Rural Road) - 108617-20NSW-RTR
Road to narrow for heavy vehicles and unsafe.1.3km of road shoulder widening and pavement rehabilitation.
Wandering Narrogin Road (Rural Road) - 108775-20WA-RTR
The Narrogin Wandering Road intersection with Springhill Road is on a sharp corner. This is dangerous due to the poor visibility for traffic turning onto the Narrogin Wandering Road in either direction. The nature of the curve of Narrogin Wandering Road makes turning right from Springhill Road onto Narrogin Wandering Road difficult and dangerous particularly the heavy vehicles.Realignment of curved section of Narrogin Wandering Road, including resumption of land, to improve road geometry. Realign intersection of Springhill Road and Narrogin Wandering Road.Total cost of proposed project is $472,669
