Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Paringa Street, Morley - 109379-20WA-RTR
Current road is in excess of 25 years old with surface deterioration due to aged and loss of stone. Potholes in certain sections. Identified as part of Council's road asset management program as a priority 1 classification.Resealing of road 470m long and 7.4m wide with 25mm asphalt kerb to kerb. A =3478 m2

Fern Street, Forrest Beach. - 109386-20QLD-RTR
Safety issues - inadequate depth of parking bays and inadequate disabled parking.Bitumen widening, disabled parking improvement and kerb and channel upgrade. (increase depth of parking bays to improve safety in relation to traffic in adjacent lane, also provides additional width between parking bays which will allow for disabled parking bays).Total cost of proposed project is $140,380
Leichhardt Street, Forrest Beach. - 109392-20QLD-RTR
Safety issue - inadequate sealed road shoulder to allow for parking. (Provide sealed road shoulder to allow for parking with the additional benefit of dust and silt reduction/run off into the underground storm water system).Bitumen widening to kerb.
Bellingen Road Missabotti - 109597-20NSW-RTR
Pavement of the road is in poor condition with potholes and surface irregularities and is unsuitable for current traffic volumes. Due to increasing traffic and sub-surface water table, a sub-pavement with a drainage layer will need to be constructed.Renewal of the road by reconstruction with properly designed drainage, new pavement layer and new 2 Coat Seal wearing surface.Total cost of proposed project is $624,000
Denison Street, Mudgee - 109600-20NSW-RTR
The road seal is in poor condition with extensive patching, edge breaks and loss of stone with unsealed shoulders.Project involved shoulder rehabilitation, single seal on existing road and double seal on shoulders.
Esperance Coast Road, Brooks Bay - 109454-20TAS-RTR
The road has been impacted by dispersive soil, causing considerable erosion to the pavement and distortion of the seal. A number of studies have been undertaken on the road and specialist advice sort for an engineering solution to be applied to resolve the issue. This project includes recommend treatment to improve the stability of the pavement and therefore improve and extend the life of the seal.Mill and reshape 4945m to a depth of 150mm, Install 6m wide two coat seal, Install 500mm wide gravel shoulders. Install 375m of 170mm Megaflo in road shoulders. Install guide posts and replace any required signage. Remake centreline to Tasmanian Department of State Growth specifications.Total cost of proposed project is $1,500,000
Holdsworth Drive, Mount Annan - 109564-20NSW-RTR
The Holdsworth Drive is affected by Cracking ,ravelling and patching, Complaints of skidding at Roundabout at Moreshed Road and install a new pedestrian crossing near Main Street Roundabout due to the developments and shopping centres in the vicinity.It is proposed to Mill and fill 145 mm thickness of travel lanes and 40 mm of shoulder, including the roundabout at Moreshead Road and Construct a new pedestrian crossing near Main Street Roundabout. Length of the road to receive treatment is 380m and average width is 11.6 m.
Ingleburn Road, Leppington - 109572-20NSW-RTR
Ingleburn Road is affected by cracking ,stripping , patching and edge break and drops. New Leppington rail station and Bringelly Road upgrade by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) have increased the traffic in the area of Ingleburn Road.It is proposed to heavy patch where required , fixing edge issues and two coat spray seal, length of the road to receive the treatment is 1540 m and average width is 6.2 m.Total cost of proposed project is $330,000
