Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Landor Mount Augustus Road, (rural road) - 109890-20WA-RTR
This section of road has lost formation and the existing material used to sheet has unravelled and become hazardous. The running surface is approximately 300 millimetres lower than the surrounding landscape causing water to flow down the road instead of the drain lines. The shoulders are overgrown and preventing access for the graders to properly maintain the batters.Clear the shoulders of vegetation and import good quality gravel to lift and re-sheet running surface with 3% crown formation.
Sandmount Road, Muckatah - 109881-20VIC-RTR
This is the 2nd stage of a two year project to reconstruct and seal this section of road.Resurface existing primer seal with a 10mm bituminous binder and aggregate.
Gale Road (Rural Road) - 109876-20WA-RTR
This road is one of the City's rural narrow seal roads. The road shoulders are in a poor condition with edge break and some vegetation growing too close to the road. The road services extractive industries with a high number of truck movements every day.This narrow seal rural road will be reconstructed and widened.Total cost of proposed project is $991,877
Saxton Street, Numurkah - 109887-20VIC-RTR

Green Point Road, Bridgewater - 109892-20TAS-RTR
The road is failing due to age and the use of heavy vehicles.The pavement is going to be reconstructed with minor widening, new kerbs and improvements to pedestrian access in the area by improving crossing points.Total cost of proposed project is $816,000
Black Duck Creek Road, Junction View - 109679-20QLD-RTR
Current seal condition has reached its useful life and requires a reseal in order to protect and extend asset life.Reseal existing road with bitumen and aggregate including prep works on existing surface.
Lorella Springs Road (Katherine - Rural Local) - 108847-20NT-RTR
Lorella Springs Road is an access to Limmen National Park and used by tourists. The road has poor drainage that cause water ponding over the road and is hazardous to motorists.Install three inverts at Chainages 2.95, 9.33 and 9.93 kilometres.
Birkinshaw Avenue, Tranmere - 109896-20SA-RTR
To address the structural integrity of the road pavement due to soil movement from very reactive soil. This road has a severe environmental deformation and cracking with moderate load induce cracking. Surface texture has a severe defect. Council's Pavement Management System has indicated that this road is warranted for total road reconstruction.The work will involve a full road reconstruction by total excavation of road base and replacement with a deeper granular pavement to ensure the structure and integrity of the road from possible future soil movement. The works include replacing existing kerbs, driveway, traffic control and improving the drainage system. The road pavement being treated is 332m in length and 8.5m in width.Total cost of proposed project is $473,695
