Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Jacana Crescent, Condon - 109910-20QLD-RTR
Aged asphalt surface displaying minor to moderate stress cracking throughout.Undertake mill and replace for the first 12m at intersection with Currawong Street (140m2), mill all edges adjacent to kerbs and interface to existing seals at intersections. Install full width overlay. On completion reinstate all pavement markers.
Malaga Street, Kirwan - 109909-20QLD-RTR
There is minor to moderate cracking in various locations, but minimal deformation identified.Undertake digouts to repair failed pavement areas (85m2) as well as kerb and channel replacement (349m). Then full width Mill and Replace.
Hindley Street, Currajong - 109904-20QLD-RTR
This section has very poor profile with multiple patches previously completed. There is also minor and moderate cracking and deformation throughout. The kerbs are reasonably operational, however there are some signs of defects.Remove all existing kerbs and road pavements (full width), treat subgrade with lime stabilization (if required). Full road reconstruction including all kerb and channel.
Emmet Court, Annandale - 109914-20QLD-RTR
Minor to moderate surface defects identified throughout, treatment will significantly extend the life of this asset.Undertake digout areas of failed pavement (30.4m2). Then undertake full width mill and replace of entire area from paved threshold to end. On completion of all works ensure that all fire hydrant markers are reinstated.
Moss Court, Aitkenvale - 109915-20QLD-RTR
Old asphalt surface with minor and moderate cracking throughout.Undertake digouts (34.25m2) to repair failed pavement areas. Then undertake full width Mill and Replace. On completion reinstate all fire hydrant and sluice valve markers.
Mac Court, Kelso - 109916-20QLD-RTR
Aged seal with significant to moderate cracking throughout, as well as some minor to moderate deformation and unevenness. There are some old existing patch repairs that are also starting crack up again. There appears to be significant ponding at the head of the cul-de-sac.Complete kerb and channel replacements (50m). Then undertake full width Mill and Replace. Some corrector course has been allowed for due to some unevenness in the existing surface. On completion ensure reinstatement of all fire hydrant and sluice valve markers as well as all line marking.
Gibson Court, Thuringowa Central - 109917-20QLD-RTR
Existing patches and some minor cracking in areas.Install 1 driveway invert, then undertake full width Mill and Replace. On completion reinstate all fire hydrant and sluice valve markers.
Malaga Street, Kirwan - 109905-20QLD-RTR
The first section of this street has moderate deformation in areas, along multiple previous pothole and patch repairs. There is also moderate to severe cracking evident throughout and the kerbs are exhibiting defects.Remove all existing kerbs and road pavements (full width), treat subgrade with lime stabilization (if required). Full road reconstruction including all kerb and channel.
Currawong Street, Condon - 109908-20QLD-RTR
Very busy and well trafficked Street with old deteriorating pavement. There are multiple patches throughout this section that are severely failing again. There is moderate cracking as well as minor and moderate deformation throughout. The kerbs are displaying minor to moderate defects and there are some areas of significant ponding.Remove all existing kerbs and road pavements (full width), treat subgrade with lime stabilization (if required). Full road reconstruction including all kerb and channel.
Alder Close, Thuringowa Central - 109913-20QLD-RTR
Deteriorating asphalt seal with minor and moderate cracking throughout, along with some minor unevenness. There are a couple of old patches that are starting to fail again.Undertake replacement of damaged side inlet pit then complete full length and full width mill and replace. On completion reinstate all fire hydrant and sluice valve markers.
