Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Back Peak Hill Road (SR126) Rural Road, - 110807-20NSW-RTR
Narrow seal, edge breaks and unsealed shouldersWiden and seal existing pavement area to meet route standards and extension of heavy vehicle access. Works will also improve general road safety for all road users.
Bulgandramine Road (SR1162) - Rural Road, - 110805-20NSW-RTR
Narrow seal, edge breaks, pavement failures and geometry improvements at rail interface.Widen and seal existing narrow pavement (approx. 5-6m) to minimum 8m width to accommodate heavy vehicle access and improve safety for all road users. Geometry improvements at interface with completed works for Inland Rail construction to improve road alignment.
Coradgery Road (SR136) Rural Road, - 110806-20NSW-RTR
Narrow seal, edge breaks, undulating pavement and pavement deformationWiden and seal existing narrow pavement (approx. 5-6m) to minimum 8m width to meet increased freight task and access for heavy vehicles. Ride quality will be improved following construction to address pavement deformation and undulations.
The Bogan Way (MR350N) Rural Regional Road, - 110808-20NSW-RTR
Narrow seal, pavement failures, edge breaks and pavement undulations resulting in poor ride quality and safetyWiden and seal existing pavement (approx. 6-7m) to min 9m to meet the increasing freight task and heavy vehicle route access. the road is currently road train rated. Works will include pavement rehabilitation to improve ride quality, drainage improvements and other road related infrastructure upgrades as required.Total cost of proposed project is $1,804,659
Alagalah Road (SR128) - Rural Road, - 110804-20NSW-RTR
Narrow sealed road with existing edge drop and unsealed shoulders.Widen and seal existing narrow pavement (approx. 3-4m) to 8m width to meet the route standard to allow heavy vehicle access.
Woorndoo-Streatham Road (Rural Road) - 111214-20VIC-RTR
The narrow sealed road and gravel shoulder is failing resulting in severe potholes and making it unsafe to travel at designated speed.Road widening and reconstruction with replacement of culvert at some locations and drainage improvement.Total cost of proposed project is $1,392,454
Darlington-Carranballac Road, Pura Pura - 111215-20VIC-RTR
The narrow sealed road is in very poor condition with potholes and crocodile cracking making it unsafe to travel at designated speed.Road widening and full reconstruction of the section with the replacement of culvert crossing and improvement in drainage system.Total cost of proposed project is $604,795
Tatyoon Road (Rural Road) - 111216-20VIC-RTR
These sections are narrow sealed road and gravel shoulder is failing, resulting in potholes and wheel ruts making it unsafe to travel at designated speed.Road widening from single lane to 6.2m double lane road with improvement in the drainage systemTotal cost of proposed project is $3,210,115
Truscott Street, Ararat - 111217-20VIC-RTR
Gravel road in an urban/built up area. Level of service for the area and traffic is no longer adequate.Construction of 540m pavement including kerb and channel and drainage works.
Willaura-Wickliffe Road (Rural Road) - 111218-20VIC-RTR
The condition of the road is very poor with potholes and wheel ruts, making it difficult for road users to travel safely at designated speed.Complete pavement rehabilitation with the replacement of existing culverts and associated drainage works.Total cost of proposed project is $1,226,125
