Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Langs Road (Rural Road) - 113127-20NSW-RTR
Insufficient pavement materials, rutting and undulating surface with pot holes and insufficient cross fall, crown shape loss and inadequate drainage.It is proposed to overlay new gravel pavement materials, spread, compact and form appropriate cross fall. Drainage issues are rectified by constructing, maintaining & clearing the existing table drains and installation of few cross drainage pipe culverts.

Spring Street, Melbourne - 113157-20VIC-RTR
The road surface has fallen below the standards set by the City of Melbourne. It is exhibiting signs of fatigue with cracking and ravelling of the surface evident that will lead to further deterioration as moisture gains access to the pavement and sub-base.Profile 50mm depth and resurface with 10mm type HP hot mix asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $147,544
Airport Rd (Cowra) - 113180-20NSW-RTR
Narrow bitumen surface and damaged shoulders.Strengthen and seal shoulders to create an 8 metre wide bitumen surface.
Development Study for a Proposed Tennant Creek Multimodal Facility and Rail Terminal
The project comprises a study for the development a fully operational multimodal facility and rail terminal in the Northern Territory to meet the current and future growth needs of Tennant Creek and the Barkly region.
Northern Territory Gas Industry Roads Upgrades
This investment will upgrade priority sections of roads in the Northern Territory to support the development of gas resources in and around the Beetaloo Sub-basin. Road upgrades will include strengthening and widening, flood immunity works and road safety improvements. The upgrades will provide crucial enabling infrastructure for the bourgeoning gas sector as well as supporting industry and business by providing more reliable freight links. The upgrades will also enhance social equity in the Northern Territory by providing more efficient and reliable access to key essential services such as education, health and time-critical emergency services. Sections for road upgrades will be prioritised based on investigations, assessments and analysis of the road conditions, vehicle accident data, and community and stakeholder consultations conducted by the Northern Territory Government.
