Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The existing surface is in poor condition with severe stripping. It was crack sealed during 2012/13 to prevent ingress of water into the pavement due to severe cracking.Supply and lay AC10 surface course and adjust drainage/utility covers to new levels.

Pave the unsealed length of Ritha St which is formed from Sand & Shellgrit and has 12 homes in total along its length to control dust & stop soil erosion.Resurface base with gravel & roadbase materials, level to existing road hight, pave with a 400mm concrete edge restraint. To use R2R amounting to $123,743.00
Rirranth St, Pormpuraaw. Qld 4871 - 095807-17QLD-RTR
Pave the unsealed length of Rirranth St at the intersection of Wirran St which is formed from Sand & Shellgrit along its length to control dust & stop soil erosion.Re-surface with gravel & roadbase materials, build up, reshape & level existing unsealed road including excavation & pave the length with 400mm concrete edge restraint. To use R2R allocation of $371,230.00
Great Northern Highway Upgrade - Maggie Creek to Wyndham
The Great Northern Highway is the only sealed road between the Port of Broome and the Port of Wydham on the National Land Transport Network linking Perth with Darwin in the Northern Territory. This project will upgrade a section known as 'Maggie's Jump Up', which is between the intersections of the Buntine and Victoria highways and part of Wyndham Spur. The scope of works for this project will see widening and overlay of approximately 22km of the Wyndham Spur section and the reconstruction of over 5km of road pavement at Maggie's Jump Up, including the construction of northbound overtaking lane.
Weaber Plain Road (rural road) - 068535-16WA-RTR
Existing Bridge 5116 is under strength to the current Association of Australian and New Zealand Road Transport and Traffic Authorities design standards, and has reached the end of its serviceable lifeDemolish existing Bridge 5116 and construct a replacement two span, composite reinforced concrete bridge structure (Bridge 5387) to Main Roads West Australia standards that is under strength to current Association of Australian and New Zealand Road Transport and Traffic Authorities design standards. Main Roads West Australia will construct a repalcement Bridge 5116 with an accredited bridge contractor from their pre-qualified bridge contracting panel.
Cleaverville Road, (Rural Road) - 095809-17WA-RTR
Seal on road section through floodway requires a new hot bitumen seal overlay.6300mtrs2 of 10mm hot bitumen seal overlay 900mtrs in length throughout the section.Total cost of proposed project is $32,421
