Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Poor pavement surface. Degraded pavement width due to poor shoulders. Inadequate drainage.Reconstruction to a 6.5 m seal and an 8.5 m pavement. Goemetrical changes to meet Austroads.Total cost of proposed project is $525,000
Wellbank St, Concord - 095966-17NSW-RTR
The roundabout pavement is exhibiting signs of pavement foundation failure. The remainder of the road has an aged surface and requires replacement.To remove and replace the asphalt road surface and replace areas of the road foundation where necessary.
Neaves Road, Mariginiup - 096003-17WA-RTR
Existing surface has reached its terminal age, with a new surface required to preserve pavement life.Construct new pavement along with replacement of kerbing, crossovers and adjustment to stormwater structures.Total cost of proposed project is $55,182
Woonan Street, Wanneroo - 096002-17WA-RTR
Existing surface has reached its terminal age, with a new surface required to preserve pavement lifeConstruct new pavement along with replacement of kerbing, crossovers and adjustment to stormwater structures.Total cost of proposed project is $51,502
Kevill Road (West), Margaret River. - 096046-17WA-RTR
Parts of the road surface is in a deteriorated state and is cracked in some areas.Reseal descrete sections of road where surface defects exist.
Pitt Street (Walgett) - 052367-14NSW-RTR
Road narrow with limited passing opportunities and hazardous for school bus and local traffic during wet weather.Reconstruction and sealing of existing pavement approximately 218m in length with a width of 7.8m on one side of the road.Total cost of proposed project is $109,845
Wirring Road, Margaret River. - 096048-17WA-RTR
Current sealed road surface is in a deteriorated state, edge breaks in the shoulders are apparent and is cracked in some areas.Minor shoulder work and then apply reseal to full width of road.
Mort Street, Cranley - 095739-17QLD-RTR
Traffic on Mort Street is expected to increase due to the construction Toowoomba Second Range Crossing. The current standard of the existing intersection will not provide adequate levels of service for the increase volumes of traffic and turning movements of B-Double class trucks.The proposed work for the new intersection: • The current intersection including the legs up Hogg Street and Griffiths Street will be reconstructed and widened to create a signalised multi lane intersection including dedicated turning lands and concrete centre medians • Mort Street wil be reconstructed on a new alignment to improve a previously poor horizontal alignment • A new Open Level Rail Crossing constructed by others required to accommodate the new turning lanes • Replacement of the existing stormwater system to accommodate new intersection configuration and upgraded to meet current standardsTotal cost of proposed project is $8,191,825
Landy Street, Mount Isa - 096050-17QLD-RTR
Bitumen cracking, potholes and pavement failures are the defects that need to be addressed on this section of road. Asphalt resurfacing will helps to prevent the asset for further deterioration.To prevent further damage to the road, Council will overlay 35mm asphalt to the existing failing bitumen seal.
Little West Street, Mount Isa - 096051-17QLD-RTR
Bitumen cracking. corrugation and pavement failure due to moisture infiltration are the defects that need to be addressed on this section of road. It is expected that road will continue to deteriorate should Council do not address the problem.Scarify existing pavement and add type 2.1 base materials to improve road pavement. Council will reconstruct the road to Council standard with 2-coats bitumen seal surface treatment.
