Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Swallow Drive, Erskine Park - 098002-18NSW-RTR
The above section of swallow drive is showing signs of failure with wide cracks and loosing wearing surface due to the increased volume off traffic over the years in Erskine Park.It is proposed to rehabilitate a 160 meter section to a width of 12 meter by replacing 130mm deep lift asphalt.
Lansdowne Road, Orchard Hills - 098003-18NSW-RTR
Lansdowne road was constructed approximately in 1980 to a rural standard and never been resurfaced since then. The pavement is showing of sign of failure with cracking and severe rutting due to the increased traffic volumeIt is proposed to rehabilitate entire road by stabilising the existing pavement for a 1km length to a width of 7 meter with two coat seal wearing surface.

The existing sealed surface has reached the end of it's life and is badly potholed decreasing road safety and increasing road maintenance costs.It's proposed to reseal the road for the entire width.Total cost of proposed project is $48,995
Robinson Street, Gingin - 098044-18WA-RTR
The existing sealed surface is potholed and dangerous increasing maintenance costs.It is proposed to reseal the existing surface for the entire width.
Barwite Road, Mansfield - 097911-18VIC-RTR
The heavy traffic and farming equipment has accelerated pavement failure to an extent beyond the capacity of standard maintenance. Failures include major pavement deformation and rutting, cracking of the seal and water ingress. Full reconstruction and strengthening of the pavement is required to restore the asset to the appropriate condition and ensure adequate service life.The works will include the including removal of existing failed pavements and associated earthworks to improve batters and drainage (extending culverts or replacing as necessary), cement stabilisation of the existing subbase to improve strength, reforming of roadside drains and grading of shoulders including importing additional material, place and compact new imported base pavement, sealing of the road and installation of signs, guideposts and linemarkingTotal cost of proposed project is $501,441
Gregory Street, Burketown - 096118-17QLD-RTR
Standing Water in the intersection of Gregory and Burke Streets after it rainsCut a drainage channel to an outfall along Gregory Street towards Lagoon Street, to a level that is self drainingTotal cost of proposed project is $29,724
Railway Place, Williamstown - 098054-18VIC-RTR
Kerb and channel has subsided along the length of street and holds water in various locations. The kerb and channel needs to be reconstructed and new drainage installed. Cracking has occurred and road pavement surface is breaking up. The pavement has also lost shape with failures along length of street. Full reconstruction of the street is required to address failures and loss of shape and safety risk.Reconstruction of kerb and channel, installation of new drainage, full width reconstruction of road pavement and asphalt surface to current standards.Total cost of proposed project is $491,817
Box Ridge Road (Rural Road) - 097910-18NSW-RTR
Formation and seal width deficiency with roughness, rutting and sinkage.Full width rehabilitation. Reconstruct pavement - stabilise subbase, resheet with roadbase and seal.
