Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Robinson River Road (Rural Road) - 098737-18NT-RTR
Existing road is formed gravel road that causes dust to go through the community and power station.Renew cattle grid at community boundary and seal 440 meters of gravel road to reduce dust inundation into the community and power house. This action will assist access to freight and fuel transport and reduce maintenance of the power house plant and supporting equipment.Total cost of proposed project is $580,300
Doleen Road, North Warrandyte - 098746-18VIC-RTR
This is a narrow rural standard unsealed road where there is difficulty for large emergency vehicles and other oncoming vehicles being able to pass safely. There is very limited passing opportunities and deep table drains can make pulling off the road very difficult. The local CFA has identified this road as needing passing bays installed at two locations and the treatment and sealing of table drains in the area as a priority.Create passing bay areas along the road cutting into the adjacent embankment and extending the crushed rock road base and also extending a driveway culvert to allow road widening at one of the driveways. Raising deep roadside table drains and then sealing them to allow vehicles to drive into them to allow oncoming vehicles to pass.Total cost of proposed project is $42,300
Centenary Crescent, Claremont - 098742-18TAS-RTR
Centenary Crescent is a local urban road, serving adjacent residential properties. The road and associated infrastructure were constructed in 1964 and are at the end of their useful life. The footpath and kerb channel need to be replaced, and new road surface is required.Replacing footpaths, kerb channels and driveway crossover on both sides of the road, and then resurfacing the road with new seal.Total cost of proposed project is $219,000
Arnold Street, Glenorchy - 098741-18TAS-RTR
Arnold Street is a local urban road, serving adjacent residential properties and being part of the Metro bus route. The road and associated infrastructure was constructed in 1974, and is at the end of its useful life. The road pavement is in need of reconstruction. New road surface is required, and kerb channel and footpath need to be replaced.excavation and replacement of road pavement. Installing new sealed surface. Replacing footpath, kerb channel and driveway crossover in the area of works.Total cost of proposed project is $640,000
Biddenham Road (Rural Road) - 098744-18QLD-RTR
This section of the road is black soil and becomes impassable during wet weather.Provide a 7m wide Gravel/Loam pavement - 150mm and then provide a Bitumen seal - 4m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $240,000
Shand Drive, (Rural Road) - 098748-18NSW-RTR
The road is currently suffering from poor drainage as it is too narrow.Install underground stormwater drainage and widen the road to 9.0m wide for the first 620m and 6.0m from chainage 620 - 760m.Total cost of proposed project is $1,600,000
Carters Road, Drumborg. - 052591-14VIC-RTR
Gravel pavement surface has worn and resheeting pavement is required to repair road.Resheeting the road pavement.
Yaraka - Retreat Road (Rural Road) - 098745-18QLD-RTR
The condition of the existing bitumen seal is deteriorating due to its age and resealing of the existing pavement will maintain existing levels of service.Bitumen resealing of a 6 metre wide road surface
Stonehenge-Warbreccan Road (Rural Road) - 098750-18QLD-RTR

Mt Weld Road (Rural Road) - 098749-18WA-RTR
The Mt weld Road is a vital link for mining companies who access Laverton and the airport. The road is subject to flooding and closure during wet weather. To protect the road surface and base, the works are essential for the safety of users and create an all weather road.To construct and seal Mt Weld Rd (21.5km)Total cost of proposed project is $4,300,000
