Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Kars Street, Frankston South - 099390-18VIC-RTR
A number of road surface defects have been identified along this section of road including cracking, potholes and ravelling which is creating an unsafe driving surface for motorists and increased maintenance needs.Replace the existing asphalt surface (approx. 625m in length) with a new asphalt surface which meets local traffic needs and is safe for users.Total cost of proposed project is $125,711
Yalata Bore Road (Rural Road) - 099411-18SA-RTR
General Maintenance and seasonal upkeep of an unsealed road used for township, Council and medical access to the Yalata Bore and the Yalata Airstrip.Initial Patrol Grade of the road, including cleaning out of road drains and the removal of overgrown trees obscuring the road. A subsequent seasonal follow up Patrol Grade of the road.
Old Glen Innes Road (Rural Road) - 099413-18NSW-RTR
There are a number of significant road failures and general defects on the road that require rectification. Drainage along the road will also be rectified.Heavy patching of the defects will be undertaken to restore the road pavements. The road shoulders will be graded and table drains cleared and graded. Once complete the road will be resealed.
Old Glen Innes Road (Rural Road) - 099414-18NSW-RTR
There are a number of road failures and general defects on the road that require rectification. Drainage along the road will also be rectified.Heavy patching of the defects will be undertaken to restore the road pavements. The road shoulders will be graded and table drains cleared and graded. Once complete the road will be resealed.
Armidale Road (Rural Road) - 099416-18NSW-RTR
The road has a narrow 5.1 metre pavement and lack of shoulders on a blind corners near the top of the range. Passing of two heavy vehicles is hazardous due to the width of existing road. The road is a significant freight route.The proposed works will widen the existing 5.1 metre carriageway to an 8.0 metre wide sealed formation. Earthworks will be required at both ends (north and south) of the project. The existing pavement to be mechanically stabilised.Total cost of proposed project is $1,280,587
Armidale Road (Rural Road) - 099417-18NSW-RTR
The road has a narrow 5.2 metre pavement and a lack of shoulders. Passing of two heavy vehicles is hazardous due to the width of existing road. The road is a significant freight route.The proposed works will widen the existing 5.2 metre carriageway to an 8.0 metre wide sealed formation. Earthworks will be required on the eastern side of the project. The existing pavement to be mechanically stabilised.Total cost of proposed project is $420,000
Rugby Road (Rural Road) - 052638-14NSW-RTR
Lack of gravel, surface rutting, poor shape and inadequate drainage.It is proposed to rectify the problems with this section of road by installing additional mitre drains and cleaning the existing drains. The road will then be tyned and re-shaped. Following this new gravel will be imported, spread and compacted. The road will then be trimmed to its final shape.
Tyringham Road (Rural Road) - 099418-18NSW-RTR
There are a number of road failures and general defects on the road that require rectification. Drainage along the road will also be rectified.Heavy patching of the defects will be undertaken to restore the road pavements. The road shoulders will be graded and table drains cleared and graded. Once complete the road will be resealed.
Oak Avenue, Cherbourg - 099354-18QLD-RTR
Road is deteriorating due to age and increased traffic usage. Water is eroding the side of the road because there is no kerb or channelReseal road and install kerb and channel to control water runoff.
East Barham Road (Rural road) - 099423-18NSW-RTR
Current road is constructed with a 7mm Primer Seal and needs a Final Seal to protect the road pavement.Put a Final Seal on existing Primer seal.
