Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Torbanlea Pialba Road Upgrade
This project upgraded targeted sections of Torbanlea Pialba Road between Torbanlea and Hervey Bay.
Plymouth Road Improvements
The project upgraded the intersection of Plymouth Road and Kirtain Drive in Croydon, including the signalisation of the intersection, formalising two lanes in each direction along Plymouth Road and delivered targeted primary school access improvements.
Tasmanian Freight Rail Revitalisation - Tranche 3 - Rail Renewal - Network
The Tasmanian Freight Rail Revitalisation - Tranche 3 - Rail Renewal - Network project undertook key works where required to the South, Western and Bell Bay Rail Lines including: track works upgrades with the replacement of rail, sleepers and ballast including formation renewal work and trackside drainage; earthworks strengthening and reconstructions; upgrades to priority bridges and major culverts that have a minimum remaining service life of less than five years; undertake coastal erosion and landslips remediation work in priority areas including installation of monitoring equipment; upgrade of priority level crossings; and construction and modification works within terminals and yards.
Metro Intersection Upgrade Program - Glen Osmond Road/Fullarton Road Intersection Upgrade
This project will include the widening of Fullarton Road to provide an additional lane of through traffic on each side; the widening of Glen Osmond Road to provide an additional right turn lane; and the indenting and relocation of the bus stop Glen Osmond Road.
Camp Street - 052709-14VIC-RTR
Cracked and degraded road seal surface.Resealing 0.376km length 5.6m width road
Princes Highway Intersection Upgrades - Pakenham to Beaconsfield
The project will upgrade six intersections along the Princes Highway, at O'Neil Road, Glismann Road, Bayview Road, Tivendale Road, Thewlis Road and Arena Parade.
Hobart – Northern Suburbs Transit Corridor
The project included an assessment of the existing Northern Suburbs Transit corridor including rail infrastructure, and its suitability for a future transit service.
Metro Intersection Upgrade Program - Brighton Road (Hove) Level Crossing Upgrade
The project included the scoping and development of upgrades for the level crossing on Brighton Road, including grade separation of the existing intersection.
Toowoomba to Seymour - Queensland
This project will upgrade priority sections along the Toowoomba to Seymour corridor (Queensland section). The project may include pavement widening and strengthening, and improved safety features. Upgrades along this corridor will contribute to the competitiveness of Australia’s agricultural and mining sectors, opening up access to essential freight networks in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
South Geelong to Waurn Ponds - Stage 3 Business Case
The project will undertake preliminary planning and design work to reconstruct the final stage of the South Geelong to Waurn Ponds Duplication, specifically focused on the construction of the Geelong Tunnel and the Barwon River Bridge.
