Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Karratha to Tom Price Upgrade
The Karratha to Tom Price Upgrade project will deliver targeted upgrades to a key economic freight route that supports the mining industry.The project will complete the upgrade of Stages 3 and 4 between Karratha and Tom Price (Manuwarra Red Dog Highway).The additional funding will contribute to the delivery of Stage 2 works which include upgrades to the existing pavement to facilitate improved access for the increased heavy vehicle activity. It will also improve road access to mines currently under development on Stage 4.
Moggill Road Corridor Upgrade
This project removed the Indooroopilly Roundabout at the intersection of Moggill Road and Coonan Street and replaced it with a signalised intersection and overpass.
Lindum Rail Crossing Upgrade
The project is expected to deliver safety upgrades at Lindum Level Crossing in Wynnum West 
Mooloolaba Access Upgrade
The project duplicated the existing 0.35 kilometre two-lane section of Brisbane Road from Mayes Canal Bridge to the intersection of Foote Street and Tarcoola Avenue. The project also included the construction of a new bridge over Mayes Canal to accommodate four lanes.
Second M1 (Coomera Connector)
This project will deliver a Business Case for Stage 1 of the Coomera Connector between Coomera and Nerang. The business case will consider an alternative route for motorists travelling between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
B Road - 052717-14VIC-RTR
Failing Seal- Seal is aged , oxidising and crackingRehabilitation, Asphalt regulation, edge repairs and crack sealing will be undertaken as preparation works prior to the commencement of sealing work and reinstatement of line marking.
Rural Roads Package - Naracoorte Roundabouts
The project will upgrade two existing roundabouts in Naracoorte (at the intersection of Riddoch highway and Smith Street and at the intersection of McRae Street and Smith Street), and the intersection of Wimmera Highway with Teys Australia abattoir and QUBE depot, approximately 6 kilometres east of Naracoorte.
Geelong Future Economy Precinct Road Upgrades
This project involved the upgrading of roads within the Geelong Future Economy Precinct at Deakin University's Waurn Ponds campus.
Bicycle Safety Upgrades - Various Intersections - CAIRNS - 100131-19QLD-BS
Improve safety of cyclists at existing roundabouts, including installing Bicycle Awareness Zones, Approach Speed Limit treatments, and on-road-off-road transition treatments
Jones Road - East of Amos Road - WITHCOTT - 100130-19QLD-BS
Install single lane bridge warning signs, install signage and linemarking, install RRPMs, guideposts and linemarking to delineate the roadway and define travel paths, replace existing substandard guardrails
