Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Road surface is damaged due to rain, potholes, uneven surfaces and deformation.Road corrections to uneven surfaces and potholes, surface repairs to floodways and reseal road where necessary.
Lampton Avenue, Derwent Park - 123115-23TAS-RTR
Lampton Avenue is an arterial road which is in urgent need of resurfacing. The road is subject to high volumes of heavy vehicles in an industrial area and it is critical to maintain the seal condition to prevent any damage to the underlying pavement.Reseal with 50mm layer.Total cost of proposed project is $582,228
Tabratong Crossing Road (Rural Road) - 052820-14NSW-RTR
Progressive sealing of this road with increasing widths of seals has left this road as a patchwork of wide, narrow and very narrow segments. The first narrow segments sealed included several bends which pose a risk to motorists, as evidenced by 2 crashes on bends in recent years.Rip, construct new pavement and seal, including widening to route standard 7.2m wide seal, of the 2 segments incorporating the bends where crashes have been recorded.Total cost of proposed project is $807,508

Ercildoune Street, Caulfield North - 123187-23VIC-RTR
Approximately 450m long bluestone kerb & channel and 1600sqm of roads are dilapidated condition. The roads have deteriorated over the years and uneven, showing signs of failures. Vehicle crossovers damaged as well as some scraping of road pavement. There are number of steel plates placed over existing crossovers, causing drainage problems. There is inadequate underground drainage system in Ercildoune Street to drain the stormwater discharge from properties and road surface runoff to underground pits and pipes.The work involves installing new kerb and channels, reconstructing failed pavement sections, installing underground drains, filling drainage trenches and constructing pavements, providing adequate drainage to the street and asphalt surfacing.Total cost of proposed project is $512,000
