Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mogumber-Yarawindah Rd (Rural Road) - 124340-23WA-RTR
Road width and construction not suitable for the current use full reconstruction is being undertaken and this section is the pavement reconstruction component.It is proposed to reconstruct the pavement of the existing road to a width of 8 metres.

Weak sections of the road have been identified that have a higher moisture content through a boggy / swampy type base course which when this moisture rises will cause the road to fail with pot holes etc. The cement stabilization will provide a stronger layer over the top of the seal and to a wider width.It is proposed to cement stabilise this section of the road over the top of proposed seal to a width of 10m.
Mogumber-Yarawindah Rd (Rural Road) - 124347-23WA-RTR
Weak sections of the road have been identified that have a higher moisture content through a boggy / swampy type base course which when this moisture rises will cause the road to fail with pot holes etc. The cement stabilization will provide a stronger layer over the top of the seal and to a wider width.It is proposed to cement stabilise this section of the road over the top of proposed seal to a width of 10m. Note this is the next section carried on from Work Schedule ID 14 and split purely to align with funding that was received on 25 May 23 (22-23 FY)
Theodore Moura Road (Rural Road) - 124333-23QLD-RTR
Deterioration of road surface and need to widen the road due to increased traffic volume.Chainage 37960 to 40100 - rehabilitation of the pavement and widening of running surface to 8 metres. Chainage 40100 to 40600 - 50mm asphalt overlay of existing surface.Total cost of proposed project is $1,676,743
Harsants Road (Rural Road) - 124331-23QLD-RTR
Deterioration of road surface with rutting and corrugation along road surface, also damage to floodway located at Chainage 2.15 (concrete floodway and rock protection needs replacement).Grade the existing surface to shape with the addition of 150mm of gravel to surface, replacement of concrete floodway and rock protection at chainage 2.15 and overlay of concrete floodway at chainage 5.9.Total cost of proposed project is $1,226,739
Deearne Road (Rural Road) - 124330-23QLD-RTR
Road surface has deteriorated with rutting and corrugation along the road surface.Grading of existing road surface to shape and addition of 150mm gravel layer to surface.Total cost of proposed project is $883,629
Acacia Road,Kirrawee - 052896-14NSW-RTR
Road pavementbase course has degraded, causing the surface course to crack severely. Road pavement has exceeded its service live and is in need of renewal. Proposed works will add strength to the base course which will eliminate ruts in the road pavement.Road pavement rehabilitation for a length of 485m and a width of 9.0m. Works include cement stabilisation of the base course, application of a new surface course and associated linemarking.
Laurina Road (Rural Road) - 124359-23WA-RTR
Inadequate gravel thickness and poor shape causing blowouts during dry weather and muddy potholes in the winterImport new gravel to increase pavement thickness. Use grader to re-shape crown and crossfall to ensure better drainage, apply water and roller to ensure good compaction
Koornong Road (Rural Road) - 124361-23WA-RTR
