Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Insufficient culvert widths and table drain structure resulting in narrow passes with water egress on road shoulders causing hazards.Installed additional culvert at straight line kilometre 5.23 to increase reduce water seeping onto left hand side of road due to a high water table and grade shoulder back slope to establish structured table drains. KUBBINE-We are upgrading the size of some culverts @ SLK0.46 from a 375mm to 400mm & 1.26 & 1.62 & 2.10-upgrade from 375mm to 400mm & 2.89 & 3.15 -upgrade from 375mm to 400mm &3.29 &4.47 & 4.81 & 4.91 & 5.39 & 5.76 KUBBINE (new Culvert) At SLK 3.54 We will be installing a new culvert as this section of road floods on a regular basis this will improvements to drainage will assist with lowering of water table which will complement the revegetation of suitable plant species. Remove cap rock in road and gravel resheet to improve road safety for heavy vehicles. Due to lack of gravel on the road there is a high requirement for maintenance due to potholing of the natural ground surface.

A 4 x 350mm barrel culvert is to be installed at the washout location and drainage is to be installed along the road. Signage is also to be updated and improved.Total cost of proposed project is $156,900

Rigid road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. A major drainage upgrade is required and will be incorporated into this project.Construction works will include the following: • 5900m² of excavation for road pavement, indented carparking, footpaths and vehicle crossings, • 2800m² of asphalt pavement, • 4000m² of asphalt wearing course, • 1270m of concrete kerb & channel and flood dish • 950m² concrete footpath paving • 600m² concrete vehicle crossings • 150m² of concrete indented parking • 700m of drainage 225mm to 600mm Dia. Pipes • 400m of drainage 750mm to 1050mm Dia. Pipes • associated drainage pitsTotal cost of proposed project is $1,340,168
