Furneaux Grove, St Kilda East - 125251-23VIC-RTR

About 470m long kerb & channel and 2000sqm of roads need renewal as they are showing signs of failure. Vehicle crossovers damaged as well as some scraping of road pavement. The work involves installing new kerb and channel, reconstructing failed pavement sections, installing underground drains, filling drainage trenches and constructing pavements, providing adequate drainage to the street and asphalt surfacing.Total cost of proposed project is $760,576
Binnum-Benayeo Road (rural road) - 122473-23SA-RTR
Road does not meet service level standards and maintenance expenditure is high. The road has an aged and deteriorated seal, resulting in a large amount of cracking and potholes due to insufficient pavement depth and edge breaks due to narrow width of the seal.Reconstruction and widening to improve road user safety.Total cost of proposed project is $613,118
Barry Way (Rural Road) - 125253-23NSW-RTR
The two affected culverts are corrugated iron construction approximately 2mtrs high and 3mtrs wide and about 10mtr in length (approx..). Mass concrete has been placed between the culverts (3mtrs apart approximately) and fill under the approaches. At the time of construction, the culverts were horizontally braced with gal pipes to hold the structure in tension and prevent deformation of the curvature of the culverts under load. The failing culvert has lost its pipe bracing as a result is now deformed and it is observed that the intact culvert has lost part of its bracing and repairs to the road surface have already taken place due to deformation.Replacement of affected corrugated culverts with two or three concrete precast Box Culverts, that includes excavating existing culvert, installation of new foundation slab wing and head walls as well as reconstruction of approaches. This would also involve possible closing the road during construction, putting in a bypass or finding a detour around the construction site during construction phase.
