Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Pindari Road, Dover Heights - 127603-24NSW-RTR
Cracked, potholed and deteriorated road surface on Pindari Road towards the intersection at Military Road.Mill existing wearing course, repair failed areas with heavy patching, replace wearing course with new asphalt re-sheet. Funding: Waverley Council expects that the Project will cost a total of $20,000. Up to $10,000 will be funded by the RTR funds, to meet the annual total of $361,163. As such, the remaining expected $10,000 will be funded by Council in FY24-25.Total cost of proposed project is $29,948
Raleigh Street, Dover Heights - 127604-24NSW-RTR
Cracked and deteriorated road surface.Mill existing wearing course, repair failed areas with heavy patching, replace wearing course with new asphalt re-sheet. Funding: Waverley Council expects that the Project will cost a total of $60,000. Up to $10,000 will be funded by the RTR funds, to meet the annual total of $361,163. As such, the remaining expected $50,000 will be funded by Council in FY24-25.Total cost of proposed project is $70,349
Murray St, Finley - 127620-24NSW-RTR
Pavement failure. Reconstruction of on-street parking bay areas including drainage. Project jointly funded with Transport for NSW.
Moroney Street, Bairnsdale - 127622-24VIC-RTR
Pavement is too narrow, seal is aging, lack of kerbing, insufficient and damaged underground drainage, old and damaged footpaths, out-dated intersections.Civil works will include wider pavement, new seal, new kerb and channel, updated underground drainage pits and pipes, upgraded DDA compliant footpaths, updated intersections, updated road signage and new line marking. Additional budget is provided by East Gippsland Shire Council and was adopted in the 2024/25 budget.Total cost of proposed project is $1,147,000
Perth Ave, East Lindfield - 127623-24NSW-RTR
Section of the road is in poor condition with crocodile cracks, rutting and high roughness causing safety concerns to road users. Council have received requests to improve the road and detailed investigation confirmed that pavement structure requires significant improvement to meet the level of services for the community.The project entails reconstructing the pavement structure between Sydney Road and Melbourne Road. This involves excavating varying depths between 110 mm and 150 mm of the existing pavement and reconstructing it with a 100 mm thick base layer of AC20 asphalt concrete, followed by a 50 mm thick AC14 wearing layer (top layer). Additionally, missing kerb sections will be constructed with proper concrete kerb and gutter to protect the road shoulder and improve surface drainage. The project will also include the reinstatement of existing line markings and signages.
Pyles Rd, Berrigan - 127621-24NSW-RTR
Pavement at the end of its life, reconstruct to cater for all vehicle types.Reconstruction of bridge approaches.
Cascade Road (Rural Road) - 127305-24WA-RTR
The existing road surface has cracked and is starting to pothole due to it reaching the end of its useful life.A reconstruction and widening is required to ensure that the road surface can continue to be driven on safely. The remaining funding will be provided by the Shire of Esperance.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
Shepparton Euroa Road (Rural Road) - 053260-14VIC-RTR
Road pavement failure, cracking edge failure, and bad ruttingReconstruction required, rip and 150mm overlay and 10mm primerseal
Munglinup Beach Road (Rural Road) - 127303-24WA-RTR
The existing road is in poor condition and is not performing its current function as a heavy haulage route.An upgrade to a sealed road is required to improve road safety and ensure that the road can continue to perform its function. The remaining funding will be provided by the Shire of Esperance.Total cost of proposed project is $856,516
Niendorf Road (Rural Road) - 127648-24SA-RTR
Surface of road has worn with clay appearing making road a hazard when wet as it becomes slippery and boggy. Also has sharp rocks appearing from previously uncrushed material. High use road, tourism route, commodity route.To resurface the road with a quarry rubble mix. It will be applied 6.5 metres wide and 0.12 metres thick when compacted. This involves raising and crushing material internally, carting to site with trucks, spreading and levelling with graders and compacting with rollers. Will include replacement of drainage pipes where required.
