Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Yeelirrie Road, (rural road) - 120858-22WA-RTR
The road is located in sandy country with limited road base material. There are also numerous floodways that require upgrading.Reforming, resheeting and drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $896,080
Warrie Street, Gulargambone - 120756-22NSW-RTR
Deformed formation and roughness.Heavy patch - stabilise existing base, mix with roadbase and seal.
Smith Drive, West Ballina - 120991-22NSW-RTR
An old pavement and seal has failed, showing pavement rutting and shoving with significant heavy patching, which requires high maintenance resources.Reconstruction of the pavement and seal for a length of approximately 250 metres with a varying seal width of approximately 7.0 to 8.0 metres, including a short stub road 80m x 11m and replacement of sections of concrete kerb.Total cost of proposed project is $750,000
Monarto Road, (rural road) - 120907-22SA-RTR
The Monarto Safari Park has relocated its main entrance from the Old Princes Hwy onto Monarto Road with the development of a new visitor centre. Access for this new facility requires new pavement and sealing works to establish dedicated turning lanes for traffic accessing the new visitor centre for the Monarto Safari Park. The existing pavement is showing signs of dilapidation due to a noted increase in heavy traffic movements and a previous service utility installation (within the outer wheel path). These roadworks will support a new level of visitor experience for the Monarto Safari Park and provide capacity for more people to come into the Murraylands region.Undertake earthworks to allow installation of granular pavement widening. Proof roll existing pavement to identify and remediate current pavement failures. Profile existing seal and install a new 50mm asphalt wearing course.Total cost of proposed project is $472,616
Mutawintji Road (Rural Road) - 120975-22NSW-RTR
The existing Road has bull dust holes, corrugations and rutting. After the completion of the project the road will have smooth surface removing bull dust holes, corrugations and rutting.The work consists of bringing some earth from the table drain and water grade and roll.
Henry Roberts Rd UR15 (Rural Road) - 120976-22NSW-RTR
The existing Road has bull dust holes, corrugations and rutting. After the completion of the project the road will have smooth surface removing bull dust holes, corrugations and rutting.The work consists of bringing some earth from the table drain and water grade and roll.
The Veldt to Milparinka Rd UR6 (Rural Road) - 120977-22NSW-RTR
The existing Road has bull dust holes, corrugations and rutting. After the completion of the project the road will have smooth surface removing bull dust holes, corrugations and rutting.The work consists of bringing some earth from the table drain and water grade and roll. Treating the worst section along the route.
Corona Rd UR05 (Rural Road) - 120978-22NSW-RTR
The existing Road has bull dust holes, corrugations and rutting. After the completion of the project the road will have smooth surface removing bull dust holes, corrugations and rutting.The work consists of bringing some earth from the table drain and water grade and roll. Treatment will be conducted along the route as required.
Cashel Vale Road, Bollon - 120781-22QLD-RTR
Cashel Vale Road has been heavily trafficked after recent rain events creating large wheel tracks, which further exacerbates the current state of road. The low areas have poor drainage and does not allow the run-off of water. The road is mostly a formed earth road and is being ‘destroyed’ following recent rain events and creating an unsafe condition for road users.150mm gravel resheeting project to allow the road to remain trafficable during wet weather periods. Grading to restore the road surface to a level of service suitable for traffic.
Honeymah Lane, Dirranbandi - 120782-22QLD-RTR
Honeymah Lane has been heavily trafficked after recent rain events creating large wheel tracks, which further exacerbates the current state of road. The low areas have poor drainage and does not allow the run-off of water. The road is mostly a formed earth road and is being ‘destroyed’ following recent rain events and creating an unsafe condition for road users. The intent is to build-up road in natural drainage problem area to allow improved all vehicle access and provide a grade to ensure the road is restored to a serviceable level. Diversion drains to be installed to assist with drainage issues.Build-up road with gravel through low lying areas and grading.
