Ash Street, Orange - 105806-19NSW-RTR
Deteriorated pavement and poor ride qualityPavement strengthening and asphalt overlayTotal cost of proposed project is $245,000
Burthong Road (rural road) - 105823-19NSW-RTR
Road is a natural surface formation which becomes impassable in wet weather.Load, haul and spread a 150mm gravel layer on the natural surface.
Bringelly Road, Kingswood - 105808-19NSW-RTR
This section of road was constructed in approximately in 1980 and showing of sign of losing wearing surface which will lead to the pavement failure. It is proposed to do 150mm deep lift asphalt construction for a 440 meter length to a width of 13 meters.
Swift Street, Wellington - 105838-19NSW-RTR
Existing sealed road pavement has failed and resulted in a rough surface. Stormwater drainage, kerb and gutter and footpath require replacement and upgrading.Install stormwater drainage, reconstruct road pavement, kerb and gutter, and footpath. Cost to RTR to be fully expended in 2019/20 FY.Total cost of proposed project is $1,900,000
Queen Street, Maffra - 105801-19VIC-RTR
Current sealed surface is in a poor condition (i.e. pot holes, bleeding, seal stripping). This is causing an increased risk for motorists due to unsafe surface conditions. The road requires maintenance on a regular interval.Proposed to replace the seal with asphalt, which will significantly improve the condition of the road due to better product quality. Pot holes, bleeding, and seal stripping should no longer be an issue for at least the next 5 - 10 years thus reducing the maintenance interval.
Libanangu Road and Intersection of Libanangu road and Road 2 - 105846-19NT-RTR
The major problem that is being addressed is the poor drainage system that is affecting the road. The road was constructed within approximately 20m road reserve, without formal drainage lines and vehicle accesses. For this reason, sections of the road pavement has failed, property access are soft (primarily during the wet season) and downstream flooding occurs. The whole section of the road has been redesigned, in order to: a) fit road side table drains to handle the upstream storm-water runoff; b) protect road pavement and c) allow fit for purpose vehicle accesses. The works comprise: - shifting the road centre line to allow construction of drainage and pedestrian accesses. - constructing new road side table drains. - upgrading the whole length of the pavement. - constructing vehicle accesses and drainage crossings to improve the storm water system. - Drainage work including, establishment of grassing on the batters on table drains, and rocks along the road to protect table drains.
