Woodlands Road, Liverpool - 138371-26NSW-RTR
Works involve road reconstruction and resurfacing to improve serviceability.
Underwood Road, Eight Mile Plains - 138846-26QLD-RTR
Vehicles, including buses, turning right into and out of Gaskell Street are experiencing delays and congestion leading to inappropriate gap selection. Brisbane City Council buses experience delays turning right from Gaskell Street, increasing the risk of potential timetable impacts. Developments currently underway on adjacent property to the east of the intersection will exacerbate issues at this intersection. In the 10 years from 2015 to 2024, there were 5 crashes at this intersection requiring medical treatment and hospitalisation due to the uncontrolled turning movements and lack of turning lanes. This project will provide an upgraded and signalised intersection to reduce congestion and improve safety, including: o Extending right turn pocket on Underwood Road o Provision of Wombat crossing on the left turn slip lane in Gaskell Street o Additional and modified medians to suit pedestrian crossings and separate traffic where required o Provision of centre median in Underwood Road to provide for left-in left-out movements only to / from Springsure Street (East) o Provision of signalised pedestrian crossings of Underwood Road and Gaskell Street o Provide smooth transition to frontage works for adjacent development
Abbotts Tank Road, Balranald - 138826-26NSW-RTR
Locally distressed and low-lying sections of Abotts Tank Road between CH 0+000 and CH 4+340 were upgraded at four separate locations, with the finished road level raised by approximately 500 mm over a combined length of 1.3 km. The works included the excavation and removal of unsuitable soft surface materials, compaction of the subgrade, and placement of two additional gravel layers incorporating PolyTar stabilisation. The upgraded pavement was shaped to provide a smooth crossfall and vertical profile, enhancing ride quality and drainage performance. New side drains were constructed where required to ensure effective surface water management and improve the long-term resilience of the road.
Fairfield-Leopold Road - Rural Road - 138547-26WA-RTR
Works to be undertaken are to improve the running surface and off-road drainage in the various sections by improving the formation installing new drainage and re-sheeting where required.
Biddy Camm Road (Rural Road) - 138802-26WA-RTR
The gravel sheeting on this unsealed segment of road is thinning and the unsealed formation is losing shape. Silt has accumulated in the drain lines and vegetation is encroaching on the backslope. The proposed work involves forming up the existing unsealed formation to provide a consistent shape to the carriageway, removing the encroaching vegetation, renewing the existing roadside drains and gravel resheeting with imported material.
Regional Roads Productivity Package - Santa Teresa Road
The project involved sealing sections of the Santa Teresa Road and the installation of a concrete floodway across Yam Creek crossing.
Cockattoo Tank Rd (Rural Road) - 138815-26WA-RTR
The existing road surface is made up principally of loose sand and clay-based material that is slippery when wet. In an effort to rectify this problem it is proposed to carry out a gravel sheeting program on this road. This work involves importing of gravel from designated gravel pits and improving the road & surface drainage in an effort to provide an all-weather road.
Corinthia West Rd (Rural Road) - 138800-26WA-RTR
