Airport Road, Goolwa - 093258-17SA-RTR

The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Road is a significant commercial road in the Winton Shire, with the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum located at the end of the 11.2km road. This major tourist destination receives a significant amount of tourism traffic each year. Bringing up to a sealed standard is expected to mitigate that issue making the museum accessible in most weather conditions. It is proposed to reconstruct the road on the existing alignment, importing gravel and bringing the road up to two lane bitumen sealed standard. Kerbing will be installed along both sides together with stormwater drainage pits and street lighting.
