Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Krauses Lane (rural road) - 093688-17NSW-RTR
Road slippery and no access during wet wether due to no gravel on thi section of road.Gravel re-sheet of earth formed section of road.
Palmer Road, Charters Towers - 093690-17QLD-RTR
Currently the roadway is gravelled. There is a dust hazard and the road corrugates badly in wet weather.It is proposed to seal the full length (1.2km) of Palmer Road from the intersection of Jardine Street to the last access point of Palmer Road.
Rollo Street, Yarragon - 093692-17VIC-RTR
Extensive pavement failures within the area, and inappropriate trees located within the parking lane.Removal of existing Plane trees within the parking lane along the west side and adjacent existing edge of seal along east side. Replacement of the existing road pavement including stabilisation of subgrade, realignment of existing kerb and channel along west side, installation of new kerb and channel along east side, asphalt overlay and plant new suitable nature strip trees.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
Bowen Street, Warragul - 093693-17VIC-RTR
Extensive pavement failures within the area and isolated damage to existing kerb and channel and history of flooding.Replacement of damaged lengths of existing kerb and channel, widen road pavement along east side including installation of new kerb and channel, reconstruct the existing road pavement and provide an asphalt overlay.Total cost of proposed project is $680,000
Caroline Street, Normanton - 093695-17QLD-RTR
Current transition between sealed road section and unsealed section creates issues with drainage and access for residents along the unsealed section during the wet season.Extension of sealed road section and construction of kerb and channel to improve drainage and all weather access for residents.
Cacoory - Stony Crossing Road (Benditoota)(Rural Road) - 093827-17QLD-RTR
Deterioration of bitumen surface due to conditions and flooding. Reseal required to prolong life otherwise pavement will begin to fail.Poly Modified Binder reseal with 10mm aggregate.Total cost of proposed project is $130,146
Rushall Cres, North Fiztroy - 093902-17VIC-RTR
Road pavement is in poor condition. The road carries a lot of traffic including a bus route and is a nominated cyclist route.Road resheet and bike lane marking. Reinststall speed cushons (humps).Total cost of proposed project is $243,000
Christies-Albertriver Road, Hiawatha - 093903-17VIC-RTR
Isolated pavement failures from chainage 0km to 0.25km which are requiring a high level of maintenance.Works include stabilisation of the failed pavement sections including placement of additional conforming materials. Bituminous resealing 10mm .
Boisdale-Newry Road, Boisdale - 093904-17VIC-RTR
Increasing urban development and high shoulder maintenance requirements necessitates the need to widen the existing road. Edges of seal are constantly breaking away and gravel shoulders have increasing numbers of potholes.Rehabilitate and widen to 6.2 meters, including additional pavement. Widening, shoulder reconstruction and drainage works are required. Bituminous Sealing - 7 millimeter primerseal
Marley Street, Sale - 093907-17VIC-RTR
The existing road was constructed many years ago and no formal drainage, edges of seal are breaking away and potholes developing in shoulders which are requiring a high level of maintenance.Works include formalisation of roadway, including the installation of kerb and channel, stormwater drainage including pits and pipes, sealed and delineated parking bays, and clear delineation of traffic lanes for safer vehicle movements, and to aline with current standards.
