Project description

A planning study was undertaken to upgrade South Road at Darlington, including grade separation of the intersection of South Road and Sturt Road.

Benefits

The project identified the most appropriate solution to upgrading the southern section of South Road, which in turn will improve the safety and efficiency of the north-south corridor in Adelaide.

Funding

The Australian Government committed $6.9  million to the project.

The project was completed in December 2012.
