Project description

Currently traffic safety is compromised due to the existing Y-intersection and poor drainage. This causes accidents because of poor visibility and confusion to travellers on which road has the priority. From this intersection towards Wyangan Avenue is gravel, which is dusty, narrow and dangerous to the travelling public.

To develop a T-intersection to improve traffic safety by changing the existing Y-intersection and priority of Kalinda Road to Old Aerodrome Road and construction of 850m of road toward Wyangan Avenue. Works will include drainage, signage and sealing.

Total cost of proposed project is $495,584
