Project description

The batter protection on the cutting faces have failed and material is being eroded from under the existing protection. There is potential for the cutting faces to slip and/or undermine residential properties constucted on top of the cuttings.

Remove the existing failed protection, excavate and remove the loose eroded material back to a solid base, install a layer of reinforcing mesh pinned to solid material and apply a sprayed concrete protection to current industry standards.

Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
