Project description

Existing street width insufficient for use by both vehicles and pedestrians, access into comemrcial fishing precinct & shopiing precinct not controlled, curve alignment has incorrect camber, no defined on street parking.

Provide a designated rigth turn off lane at Clotworthy Street, widen street to allow for relocation of a dual use pathway, re-construct the curve alignment, define one way access roads into commercial fishing precinct to reduce vehicle to vehicle conflict, include parrellel parking on road shoulder in shopping precinct area, install drainage, kerb and pedestrian refuge islands, improve entry into commercial fishing precinct fuel storage area for servicing, define access into recreational boat ramp area.

Total cost of proposed project is $500,000

Virginia Street, Mount Waverley - 059943-15VIC-RTR

Virginia Street was constructed around 1929-1930 and is now in poor condition with significant cracks. In addition it has been patched over time as parts of the road fail. The existing surface is very rough in a number of locations. The drainage of the road surface is poor with ponding occurring at certain locations.The reconstruction of the existing concrete road pavement to address its current poor condition and drainage concerns. The road will be sloped to allow it to drain correctly into the existing kerb and channel which was reconstructed earlier in an attempt to correct this fault. The road width is to be maintained as the kerb and channel is not being removed. The length of road being reconstructed in Virginia Street is approx. 315m in length.

Pall Mall, Mount Waverley, Victoria 3149 - 059944-15VIC-RTR

Pall Mall is a concrete road that was constructed around 1929-1930 and is now in poor condition with significant cracks and a large number of patches that are increasing in number over time as parts of the road fail. The existing surface is very rough in a number of locations. Along the northern side of Pall Mall no footpath was ever built and this are now needed as goat tracks exist and tripping points are located here due to the undulating nature of the nature strip. The drainage of the road is poor with areas where water ponds.The reconstruction of the existing concrete road pavement to address its current poor condition and drainage concerns. The road will be sloped to allow it to drain correctly into the existing kerb and channel which was reconstructed earlier in an attempt to correct this fault. The road width is to be maintained as the kerb and channel is not being removed. A footpath is being constructed along the northern side of Pall Mall as part of these works. The length of road being reconstructed in Pall Mall is approx. 124m in length.Total cost of proposed project is $152,250

Beverley Grove, Mount Waverley VIC 3149 - 059945-15VIC-RTR

Beverley Grove is a concrete road that was constructed around 1929-1930 and is now in poor condition with significant cracks and a large number of patches that are increasing in number over time as parts of the road fail. The existing surface is very rough in a number of locations. Along the western side of Beverley Grove no footpath was ever built and this are now needed as goat tracks exist and tripping points are located here due to the undulating nature of the nature strip. The drainage of the road is poor with areas where water ponds.The reconstruction of the existing concrete road pavement to address its current poor condition and drainage concerns. The road will be sloped to allow it to drain correctly into the existing kerb and channel which was reconstructed earlier in an attempt to correct this fault. The road width is to be maintained as the kerb and channel is not being removed. A footpath is being constructed along the western side of Beverley Grove as part of these works. The length of road being reconstructed in Beverley Grove is approx. 221m in length.Total cost of proposed project is $308,212

Winbourne Road, Mount Waverley VIC 3149 - 059946-15VIC-RTR

Winbourne Road is a concrete road that was constructed around 1929-1930 and is now in poor condition with significant cracks and a large number of patches that are increasing in number over time as parts of the road fail. The existing surface is very rough in a number of locations. Along the northern side of Winbourne Road no footpath was ever built and this are now needed as goat tracks exist and tripping points are located here due to the undulating nature of the nature strip. The drainage of the road is poor with areas where water ponds.The reconstruction of the existing concrete road pavement to address its current poor condition and drainage concerns. The road will be sloped to allow it to drain correctly into the existing kerb and channel which was reconstructed earlier in an attempt to correct this fault. The road width is to be maintained as the kerb and channel is not being removed. A footpath is being constructed along the northern side of Winbourne Road as part of these works. The length of road being reconstructed in Winbourne Road is approx. 83m in length.Total cost of proposed project is $158,264
