Project description

Heavy corrugation as a result of high traffic volumes, loss of gravel as a result of high traffic volumes and frequent maintenance grader operations, very high ongoing maintenance cost. Lose and corrugated surface presenting a safety issue for motorists particulary vehicles towing caravans as this road provides access to a major tourist attraction and camping facility in the Shire.

The proposed works are to continue with the staged sealing program commenced in 11/12 and to be completed in the 13/14 financial year. The 12/13 program will consist of sealing from Chainage 3.00km to Chainage 5.00km. The 13/14 program will consist of sealing from Chainage 5.00km to Chainage 7.00km.
