Project description

Booborowie Road is a major commodity route running north/south in a heavy cropped agricultural area. Increase of heavy vehicles over harvest periods (Cropping/hay). The next 6km has been re sheeted over last 3 years and is an ideal opportunity to upgrade before degredation occurs.

Intersection redesign of Leighton Road to Booborowie Road including realignement of Leighton Road, land acquisition, drainage works, earthworks with sub base material brought up to specified level and signage. Outcome will improve overall sight distances, correct the geometry of the surves and amend the elevation of the road.
