Project description

Road has eroded away over the years due to drought and recent heavy rains. Causeway and dips are impassable in wet weather, Council has had to spend continued funds rescueing vehicles trapped in wet weather

Reformation grading of the full 20.75 kilometres of road to elevate it to its original condition leaving a 5 percent crossfall on the surface to help drainage. Gravel resheeting of existing causeways at chainages 1.16, 2.86, 4.54, 7.45, 10.56, 11.24 and 13.42 to allow traffic to pass after wet weather.
