Existing sealed road sections shows severe pavement distresses including severe rutting, showing and potholing. underlying drainage issues have also been identified.Reconstruction of road pavement including associated k&G and Footpath. Stowport Road ( Rural Road) - 059199-15TAS-RTR

The road is too narrow for the volume and size of vehicles using it. The existing seal has failed and there is significant edge failure.The road is to be widened to have 3.1m wide sealed lanes. This includes widening the pavement, upgrading drainage and road shoulders, and replacing the seal.Total cost of proposed project is $510,000

The road pavement has deteriorated and shows signs of failure such as depressions, cracking and general roughness. The aged bitumen spray seal requires renewal.The entire section of pavement will be stabilised with a suitable stabilising agent and the road section will be spray sealed.
