Project description

Fenchurch street is an urban collector road within the township of Goolwa. Fenchurch Street is currently a narrow unkerbed sealed road that doesn’t have any stormwater infrastructure or footpaths. The pavement depth is currently insufficient for the traffic loads requiring additional maintenance.

The upgrade of Fenchurch Street Goolwa includes the renewal and widening of road pavement, the installation of stormwater infrastructure and footpaths. This upgrade will increase safety of road users as well as pedestrians as well as ensuring the safe and effective management of stormwater.

Total cost of proposed project is $321,684

Unsealed road which is eroding due to poor drainage and rutting out.Reconstruct existing unsealed road, incorporatig new roadbase material to add to existing suitable material. Place new bitumen seal consisting of one layer of 10mm stone and 2 layers of 7mm stone.
