Project description

The project duplicated the Tourle Street Bridge and included approach works at Kooragang Island.

Benefits

The project has improved freight productivity on Tourle Street and Cormorant Road and enhanced the safety and environmental performance of the corridor.

Funding

The Australian and NSW governments funded this project on a 50:50 basis.

Timetable

Construction on the project commenced in June 2016 and was completed in June 2018.
