Project description

The project involved the installation of traffic lights at the intersection of Bedford Road and Great Ryrie Street in Ringwood.

Benefits

The project addressed safety issues and a traffic bottleneck at the intersection which should provide a safer environment for pedestrians.

Funding

The Australian Government is fully funding this $1 million project.

Timetable

Traffic signal installation works commenced on 21 September 2015 and were completed in November 2015. The traffic signals became operational on 23 March 2017.
