Project description

The project widened and strengthened approximately 14 km of the Condah-Hotspur Upper Road and upgraded the Crawford River Bridge.

Benefits

The project has improved freight efficiency for heavy vehicles and improved safety.

Funding

The total cost of the project was $5.996 million. The Australian Government contributed $2.5 million with the Victorian Government, Glenelg Shire Council and industry contributing to the project cost.

Timetable

Construction commenced on 11 January 2016 and was completed in mid 2019.
