Project description

The full extent of Main Street is a urban sealed road with select pavement failures and an aged bitumen surface, including seal stripping and potholes in various locations.

Pavement preparation works prior to reseal which includes pavement failure digouts. This was followed by an asphalt reseal of the surface to restore the surface condition and prevent accelerated pavement degradation.

Total cost of proposed project is $342,698

Brooke Lane is unsealed and has significant dust issues in summer and slippery pavement issues in the wetter monthsIt is proposed to top up and re-shape the existing pavement and then place a bitumen seal on the new pavement. There will also be some improvement works to the existing drainage

This section of road is unsealed and with increased heavy vehicle traffic the maintenance has increased significantlyIt is proposed to place and compact a 150 millimetre layer of new pavement on top of the existing gravel pavement and then seal the new surface. there will also be upgrade works to the existing drainage
